I am 50 years old. My mom was a musician and recording engineer. I grew up in a house full of music, so I had no choice! I asked for a guitar when I was 14 - so it's over 36 years.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first concert I ever went to was Chopin Competition. I was twelve. The concert hall was so crowded, I was sitting under the grand piano!
What gear do you use?
I got several twelve-string guitars, but my fovourite is an old Aria - over 40 years old. It's a Rolls Royce. I also have a nice ukulele.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Hippie bands from California. I loved the combination of acoustic and electric instruments. I still do.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Chocolate Spoon is a band I've founded in mid-eighties. We still play, although the personel has changed couple a times. Other band I co-founded was Mafia. My very first one was Modern Folk Trio - a nice acoustic band in the beginning of 80s.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
CSN&Y, Jordi Savall, J.J. Cale, Jeff Buckley, R.E.M., Nickel Creek...
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
The biggest audience - fifteen thousand people - Jarocin Rock Festival. The smallest, but the most important - my wife.
