my new original - Waiting for Malcolm - with HG Schmitz on 'sax' solo. there are many intelligent people on both both sides of the political spectrum. however, our politicians find themselves unable/unwilling to find any middle ground to move the country forward. i believe that quagmire is the result of the people of the U.S. just as unwilling to listen to anyone with differing political leanings. i believe that if we learned to listen first and tried our best to find anything that we could agree with and then commented on that, perhaps that could be the beginning of some much needed compromise. i'm waiting for everyone to make their way to the middle. that's why i'm Waiting for Malcolm..... respectfully submitted. dang Lyrics: You don't care nothing about my politics I don't care Nothing about you at all Why do you think there's no room for compromise When will I realize I look kind of small You're just pretending This never-ending drone Hooray for our side, can't you see When God's for us, there's no retreat There's no escaping intact While there is bleeding, in fact I'll be in the middle Waiting for Malcolm I heard a good joke just the other day Ayn Rand and Karl Marx walked into a bar And altho neither one of them had a lot to say They made their peace after tasting the jar Let's stop pretending This never-ending drone Hooray for our side, can't you see When God's for us, there's no retreat There's no escaping intact While there is bleeding, in fact You'll find me in the middle (I'll be waiting) We often think we know best Than listen to all of the rest Come join me in the middle Waiting for Malcolm

Without You - cover - Nilsson 1971 this is my third attempt to try and do justice to the incredible version done by Harry Nilsson in 1971. i have re-done the piano and some guitar work, re-touched the vocal and added a guitar solo, by Micke Larsson, at the outro (thank you, Micke. it's a masterful job!)..... i've always loved this tune. perhaps maybe i'm done with it now...... i sincerely hope someone out there gets something out of this song...... my very best to all!

Walter Becker obituary: Superbly talented guitarist, singer and songwriter who co-founded Steely Dan, the American jazz-rock band formed by the multi-instrumentalists and songwriters Donald Fagen and Walter Becker in 1972, marked the high point of the music industry’s most profligate period. Young, ruthless and supremely intellectual, the two musicians gained a lifelong reputation for obsessive recording methods in the studio, forcing session musicians to record dozens of takes in search of the perfect sound – at a cost that would be impossible to consider nowadays. The results justified this approach, at least on paper. Steely Dan sold more than 40m copies of nine studio albums, won four Grammy awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Their music – slick and catchy, with wry, observational lyrics - was all-pervasive for much of the group’s first period of activity, between 1972 and 1981, and the clarity and depth of the albums’ production has made them popular reference points for studio engineers. However, Steely Dan’s huge success proved difficult to handle for Becker, who became addicted to drugs, endured a series of crises and withdrew from the band to regain his sanity. Becker, who has died at the age of 67 from an undisclosed illness, was born in the New York borough of Queens. His early life was troubled, according to Fagen: “Walter had a very rough childhood – I’ll spare you the details ... He was cynical about human nature, including his own, and hysterically funny. Like a lot of kids from fractured families, he had the knack of creative mimicry, reading people’s hidden psychology and transforming what he saw into bubbly, incisive art.”Walter went to Stuyvesant high school, Manhattan, started on the saxophone, turned to the guitar and was taught to play the blues by Randy Wolfe, later famous as Randy California from the band Spirit. He met Fagen at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, and the two played in a series of unsuccessful bands including the Leather Canary. This group’s drummer was Chevy Chase, later a comic actor.Quitting Bard in 1969 without gaining a degree, Becker moved with Fagen to New York, where they attempted to find employment as musicians. A stint with the pop group Jay and the Americans, with whom Becker performed under the stage name Gus Mahler, eventually led to a position as in-house songwriters at the ABC label in Los Angeles. This was followed by a deal for their band, Steely Dan, named after a dildo in William Burroughs’ 1959 novel Naked Lunch. The guitarists Denny Dias and Jeff “Skunk” Baxter rounded out the band’s first line-up, alongside the drummer Jim Hodder.Three years of touring to support the albums Can’t Buy a Thrill (1972), Countdown to Ecstasy (1973) and Pretzel Logic (1974) proved too exhausting to follow up, despite the acclaim that Becker and Fagen received, and Steely Dan became a studio-only project for the remainder of the 1970s. This benefited their albums, with their most successful LP, Aja (1977), boasting a glittering, widescreen sound that greatly impressed critics. Becker was one of the most accomplished guitar and bass players of his generation, co-writing songs on Aja such as Peg, Josie and Deacon Blues, the last of which inspired the title of the Scottish band Deacon Blue in the following decade.By 1980 Becker was in crisis. In January that year, his girlfriend Karen Stanley died following a drug overdose in his apartment on the Upper West Side. The following year Stanley’s mother attempted to sue Becker for $17m, claiming that he had introduced her daughter to cocaine, morphine, heroin and barbiturates. A judge found in his favour and the case was settled. “I could barely understand what was going with her, really,” recalled Becker. “If you’ve ever known anyone that’s chronically depressed like that, it’s hard to appreciate what’s going on: you’re looking straight at it and you still don’t get it, because you’ve never gone through that.”A month after Stanley’s death, Becker was seriously injured when a taxi drove into him in Central Park. “We were quantum criminals,” he joked of the accident, in which his right leg was fractured in several places. “The car and I were attempting to occupy the same place at the same time.” Compelled to use a wheelchair for the completion of Steely Dan’s album Gaucho (1980), their seventh and the last released in their first decade, Becker was also struggling with drug addiction. In June 1981 he and Fagen went their separate ways. “I was busy dissolving everything else about myself,” Becker said, “so it seemed the logical extension.”Moving to Hawaii and recovering from his addiction, Becker embarked on building a family. He married Elinor, a yoga teacher, with whom he had a son, Kawai; the couple also adopted a daughter, Sayan. They lived on a cattle ranch equipped with a recording studio, where Becker launched a second career as a producer. He recorded albums by artists including Rickie Lee Jones, Michael Franks and China Crisis. The occasional collaboration aside, Becker and Fagen did not reunite until 1993, when they toured again as Steely Dan and produced each other’s first solo albums (Becker’s was 11 Tracks of Whack, 1994). The duo continued to perform and record on a sporadic basis after that, receiving particular recognition for their album Two Against Nature (2000). It was followed by Everything Must Go (2003), and the band were still touring this year, though Becker had to miss concerts in July.Outside Steely Dan, Becker recorded and performed in recent years with the singer-songwriters Krishna Das, Rebecca Pidgeon and Madeleine Peyroux. His second solo album, Circus Money, was released in 2008.He and Elinor divorced in 1997.• Walter Carl Becker, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, born 20 February 1950; died 3 September 2017

Lyrics You consider me the young apprentice Caught between the Scylla and Charybdis Hypnotized by you if I should linger Staring at the ring around your finger I have only come here seeking knowledge Things they would not teach me of in college I can see the destiny you sold Turned into a shining band of gold I'll be wrapped around your finger I'll be wrapped around your finger Mephistopheles is not your name I know what you're up to just the same I will listen hard to your 'tuition You will see it come to its fruition I'll be wrapped around your finger I'll be wrapped around your finger Devil and the deep blue sea behind me Vanish in the air you'll never find me I will turn your flesh to alabaster When you will find your servant is your master Ohhh, you'll be wrapped around my finger You'll be wrapped around my finger You'll be wrapped around my finger You'll be wrapped around my finger

Shock the Monkey - cover - Peter Gabriel 1982 -Synths, Guitar, Vocals, Drum Programming and Production by SAGOBA. while waiting for my CD to be released, i've been busy doing a bunch of 80's cover tunes. this was one i had performed live and had 16 tracks on my old Korg Triton. well, i scrapped nearly all of those tracks as i realized how much more there was to this song in the original recording. Peter Gabriel was ground-breaking in his unusual sound and it gave me fits just trying to do something similar. as usual, i am off the mark, but i learned a lot in the process. i hope this is enjoyed by all my friends....btw, my new CD, titled 'From a Dead Stop' will be released the first week of May and will be available thru CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes, etc. blessings to all,sam

I am finalizing my last 2 tunes for the CD right now.... I am slowing down and don't get to fando much anymore. at least the CD will prove that I was among the living for a brief while. Afterglow - cover - Genesis - 1976 Written by Tony Banks Kaiboard - Keys, Orchestration, Production (Audio and Video) SaGoBa - Vocals, Choir, Drum Programming Kjell Johansson - Bass i am honored to be a part of another collaboration with Kai Liebert, who approached me to supply the vocal to his exquisite instrumental. please visit Kai's fando page to hear his acoustic version of this song http://www.fandalism.com/kaiboard PLEASE TURN IT UP. SOUNDS BETTER THAT WAY! thank you, my friends..... Lyrics: Like the dust that settles all around me, I must find a new home. The ways and holes that used to give me shelter, Are all as one to me now. But I, I would search everywhere Just to hear your call, And walk upon stranger roads than this one In a world I used to know before. I miss you more. Than the sun reflecting off my pillow, Bringing the warmth of new life. And the sounds that echoed all around me, I caught a glimpse of in the night. But now, now I've lost everything, I give to you my soul. The meaning of all that I believed before Escapes me in this world of none, no thing, no one. And I would search everywhere Just to hear your call, And walk upon stranger roads than this one In a world I used to know before. For now I've lost everything, I give to you my soul. The meaning of all that I believed before Escapes me in this world of none, I miss you more.

HG, it's YOUR birthday! i realize you probably won't see this till tomorrow , as you are traveling.... you have always been very kind to me. i want to thank you by dedicating this song to you. i told you awhile ago, that i was working on an original that used some of your guitar techniques. well, here it is. altho you may not recognize anything here that resembles what you do, you did inspire it! you have told me many times to be creative and that is the attribute YOU display so well. so, i tried to be a bit more creative and evoke something from the past/Beatles as well..... i am a neophyte on guitar, but do the best i can. again, thank you, HG, for your continuing support and upbeat attitude. i am proud to call you friend! sam Power of Suggestion - 2015 - SaGoBa (all rights reserved) SaGoBa - music, lyrics, all instruments, vox, drum programming and production Lyrics: Verse I can't believe it I can't retrieve it Just can't believe it Gets lost along the way, Ow One shot today Then gone to stay I can't reply Yes, it's true Chorus And dreams aren't meant to die Before their time, I'm here to say A reckless mind, throws away the past The power of suggestion And there will be a change To start anew, before it's over you cannot fight, the power of suggestion it comes down over you now Yeah, yeah, yeah Owoh-oh Yeah, yeah, yeah Verse In the beginning There's only winning Just keep on thinking That you're on your way And then distraction Leads to inaction Before you know it Someone's singing your song Chorus And dreams aren't meant to die Before their time, I'm here to say A reckless mind, throws away the past The power of suggestion And there will be a change To start anew, before it's over you cannot fight, the power of suggestion it comes down over you Yeah, yeah, yeah......

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John (1973) written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin. All instruments (Piano, Synth, Guitar and Vocal) Drum Programming and Production by SaGoBa yet again, this is one of the songs i performed live from 2010-2013. it was performed as part of a medley of Elton John songs. i have the deepest respect for Elton John's musicianship and songwriting ability. trying to cover his songs only brings one closer to understanding his monumental talent. I do not own the rights to this song. All rights remain with the copyright holder. This performance is for entertainment/educational purposes. No infringement is intended. Lyrics: When are you gonna come down When are you going to land I should have stayed on the farm I should have listened to my old man You know you can't hold me forever I didn't sign up with you I'm not a present for your friends to open This boy's too young to be singing the blues chorus: So goodbye yellow brick road Where the dogs of society howl You can't plant me in your penthouse I'm going back to my plough Back to the howling old owl in the woods Hunting the horny back toad Oh I've finally decided my future lies Beyond the yellow brick road What do you think you'll do then I bet that'll shoot down your plane It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics To set you on your feet again Maybe you'll get a replacement There's plenty like me to be found Mongrels who ain't got a penny Sniffing for tidbits like you on the ground

Frenchman's Cay by SaGoBa - 2012written for the EP, B.V.I. Tales, by SaGoBa (written as an homage to Gary Brooker and Procol Harum). altho the lyrics employ a nautical theme, the song is written as an allegory about finding my way back to music in 2010 and the eventual failure of my attempt at finding success. the tune is almost totally remade. i also added guitar work to it. i submit this to the fando community with humility and appreciation.all the best, samVerse He set the sails, Pushed out to sea Never thinking, How soon it would be Tho he was certain, He'd find his way home The boat lay anchored And he was sorely aloneChorus Come stormy seas, Come take me away Let me be unbroken, Until my dyin' dayVerse Born a sailor, Then drifted away Awakened by fate, The Blue calling his name Fair winds surrounded him, Pushed him port to port White Bay to Spanish Town, Then back to the northChorusVerse Skies grew dark and threatened, From the north it did blow There was no confusion, On which course he would go Miles off the heading, Any port in a storm Finding shelter on Frenchman's Cay, Tried to keep himself warmChorusVerse Fear filled the brewhouse, Locals tied him fast No words were spoken, Him hanging from the mast Look back and wonder, Where the wonder has gone They cut the ropes upon the tide, Lost to the sea all alongChorus

Fando friends, This is yet another of the tunes i performed live from 2010-2013. the funny thing is that i didn't play most of these tunes back in the 80's when i formed the SAmmy GOld BAnd (SaGoBa). back then, i was just trying to play what the public wanted to hear. now, i play and record what i want to hear..... since my soundcloud page is nearly full, I decided to try a youtube video. The quickest way to provide video was to display some of my early concert handbills. the video shows handbills from some of the concerts my band, Caste, played in 1968-1969 in Michigan. We were part of the concert circuit in those years. This was the closest I got to success and to successful artists. One of the main places we played was the Grande Ballroom in Detroit and yes, 'Led Zeptlin' as listed on one of the handbills, was in fact THE Led Zeppelin we all know. I appreciate my friends here on fando taking a listen..... sam Lyrics See the stone set in your eyes, See the thorn twist in your side. I wait for you. Sleight of hand and twist of fate, On a bed of nails she makes me wait And I wait without you With or without you, With or without you. Through the storm, we reach the shore, You gave it all but I want more And I'm waiting for you With or without you, With or without you., I can't live with or without you. ===== And you give yourself away, And you give yourself away And you give, and you give, And you give yourself away. My hands are tied, my body bruised, She´s got me with, nothing to win And nothing left to lose. And you give yourself away, And you give yourself away And you give, and you give, And you give yourself away. With or without you, With or without you I can't live, With or without you. Oh oh oh..... With or without you, With or without you I can't live, With or without you With or without you.

Steppin' Out -written by Joe Jackson and released in 1982. All instruments, Vocals, Drum Programming and Production by SaGoBa. This again, is one of the tunes I performed live from 2010-2013 in my solo act. It's one of my favorite Joe Jackson songs and I submit it to the Fando audience with pleasure. I hope you enjoy it! sam Lyrics: The mist across the window hides the lines But nothing hides the colour of the lights that shine Electricity so fine Look and dry your eyes We So tired of all the darkness in our lives With no more angry words to say can come alive Get into a car and drive To the other side Me babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light You babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light We Are young but getting old before our time We'll leave the T.V. and the radio behind Don't you wonder what we'll find Steppin' out tonight? You Can dress in pink and blue just like a child And in a yellow taxi turn to me and smile We'll be there in just a while If you follow me Me babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light You babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light Me babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light You babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light Me babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light

Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground) 1985 - Mike & the Mechanics written by Mike Rutherford and B.A. Robertson. Again, I am thrilled to have been joined by Fanda's Danny Roffe on this project. He is simply the best. After I sent him the basic track, he insisted that i send him all tracks and let him produce the project! after you listen, you'll know why I wanted him to be the mastermind! Thank you, Danny..... Danny Roffe - Guitar Solo and Total Production (Mix and Master) SaGoBa - All Music (Synths, Piano and Drum programming) and Vocal Lyrics: Take the children and yourself And hide out in the cellar By now the fighting will be closed at hand Don't believe the church and state And everything they tell you Believe in me, I'm with the high command Can you hear me, can you hear me running? Can you hear me running, can you hear me calling you? Can you hear me, can you hear me running? Can you hear me running, can you hear me calling you? There's a gun and ammunition Just inside the doorway Use it only in emergency Better you should pray to God The father and the spirit Will guide you and protect from up here Can you hear me, can you hear me running? Can you hear me running, can you hear me calling you? Can you hear me, can you hear me running? Can you hear me running, can you hear me calling you? Swear allegiance to the flag Whatever flag they offer Never hint at what you really feel Teach the children quietly For someday sons and daughters Will rise up and fight while we stood still Can you hear me, can you hear me running? Can you hear me running, can you hear me calling you? Can you hear me, can you hear me running? Can you hear me running, can you hear me calling you?

What You Won't Do For Love - 1978, written by Alfons Kettner and Bobby Caldwell. All Instruments (Elec Piano, Guitar and Synth), Drum Programming, Vocals and Production by SaGoBa. Altho i love the Beatles and the British wave of the 60's, my earliest influences were from soul (Motown), R&B and jazz. I've spent the latest years trying to get as far away from those influences as i can, but this song has stayed with me. I began singing this tune when i was part of a wedding band back in 1978. When i came back to music and performed solo in 2010, I again made this part of my set list. Bobby Caldwell is one soulful singer! I hope this is enjoyed by everyone! sam Lyrics: I guess you wonder where I've been I searched to find a love within I came back to let you know Got a thing for you and I can't let go My friends wonder what is wrong with me Well, I'm in a daze from your love, you see I came back to let you know Got a thing for you and I can't let go Some people go around the world for love And they may never find what they dream of What you won't do, you do for love You tried everything but you don't give up In my world only you make me do For love what I would not do My friends wonder what is wrong with me Well, I'm in a daze from your love, you see I came back to let you know Got a thing for you and I can't let go I know I only want the best, it's true I can't believe the things I do for you What you won't do, you do for love You've tried everything but you won't give up In my world, only you make me do For love what I would not do Make me do for love what I would not do Make me do for love what I would not do Make me do for love what I would not do

Maybe I'm Amazed - written by Paul McCartney, 1970 All instruments (Piano, Organ, Guitar, Synths, Drum Programming, Vocals) and Production by SaGoBa. I have played this tune since first hearing it in 1970. I never performed it in public until 2010, when I made it part of my solo act. As you know, Paul McCartney is a phenomenal songwriter, musician, vocalist and arranger. He is one of those rare individuals that can DO IT ALL! This is my feeble attempt to honor one of the best. long live Sir Paul McCartney..... Lyrics: Maybe, I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time, And maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you. Maybe I'm amazed at the way you pulled me out of time, You hung me on the line. Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you. Baby, I'm a man, maybe I'm a lonely man Who's in the middle of something That he doesn't really understand. Baby, I'm a man, And maybe you're the only woman who could ever help me. Baby, won't you help me to understand? Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Oh, oh, oh, Oh, oh, oh, oh, Oh. Maybe I'm amazed at the way you're with me all the time, Maybe I'm afraid of the way I leave you. Maybe I'm amazed at the way you help me sing my song, Right me when I'm wrong- Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you.

All I Need is a Miracle - cover - Mike & the Mechanics 1985 Written by Mike Rutherford and producer Christopher Neil This is a cover tune that I performed as a solo act from 2010-2013 and had to recreate here. It is another spectacular song from the 80's....... All Instruments, Vocals, Drum programming and Production by SaGoBa I appreciate all my Fando friends and hope it brings a smile to your faces! Lyrics: I said "Go if you wanna go Stay if you wanna stay" I didn't care if you hung around me I didn't care if you went away And I know you were never right I'll admit I was never wrong I could never make up my mind I made it up as I went along And though I treated you like a child I'm gonna miss you for the rest of my life All I need is a miracle, all I need is you All I need is a miracle, all I need is you All I need is a miracle, all I need is you I never had any time And I never had any call But I went out of my way just to hurt you The one I shouldn't hurt at all I thought I was being cool Yeah, I thought I was being strong But it's always the same old story You never know what you've got 'til it's gone If I ever catch up with you I'm gonna love you for the rest of your life All I need is a miracle, all I need is you (all I need is a miracle) All I need is a miracle, all I need is you (all I need is a miracle) All I need is a miracle, all I need is you And if I ever catch up with you I'm gonna love you for the rest of your life All I need is a miracle, all I need is you (all I need is a miracle) All I need is a miracle, all I need is you (all I need is a miracle) All I need is a miracle, all I need is you (all I need is a miracle) All I need is a, all I need is a, All I need is you (all I need is a miracle)

This is an original song written for my wife, Diane, for our 18th wedding anniversary. Thru a journey in space, it reflects how I felt when we first met in 1995. Since Diane was born on September 19th, I call it Virgo Rising. However, she remains Venus to me. I love you, Diane! I was fortunate to be joined by Fando's own Tedd VanWagner on Lap Steel Guitar and he is outstanding! thank you, Tedd..... I was also fortunate to have a spectacular video made for me by my good friend, Doc Protool. In fact, Doc made two videos from which i could choose. I am so grateful, Doc! Lyrics: Verse My mind is racing, as I escape Those surly bonds below I'm done erasing, parts of my life This mission's ready, I know it's a go Chorus Virgo is rising, now in sight Venus, my destiny tonite Verse Tanks are full, all gauges are green Weightless as I push on My course is set and locked into place i'm getting higher, I'm finally gone Am I alone, hurtling thru space Or part of something huge? I'll keep my eyes on the speck in my window And hope my vision improves Chorus Virgo is rising, now in sight Venus, my destiny tonite Verse I'm getting nearer, the time has come I see her come into view No time to think about it, full speed ahead Everything is brand new Who ever knew it could feel this good getting close to the sun Burning up, I feel her close to me Love, not to be undone Chorus Virgo is rising, now in sight Venus, my destiny tonite Virgo is rising, now in sight Venus, my destiny tonite

Whiter Shade of Pale - 1967, written by Gary Brooker, Keith Reid and Matthew Fisher. All Instruments, Drum Programming, Vocals and Vintage Production by SaGoBa. I sat on the stage at the Saugatuck Pop Festival in 1969, watching Procol Harum perform this tune. My band had performed earlier in the day. The funny thing is that after Procol Harum opened their set with WSOP and then one other song, the crowd demanded they again play WSOP, which they did. It was definitely a highlight of my youth..... To me, this song is MAGIC! it is one of the best of my generation. Perhaps it had more musical influence on me than any other song. After Doc Protool and Mauricio Garay posted this tune a few months back, I was bitten by the Ghosts of yesterday and had to re-do this myself. Many thanks to Doc and Mauricio! Another tribute to Gary Brooker! Lyrics: We skipped the light fandango Turned cartwheels 'cross the floor I was feeling kinda seasick The crowd called out for more The room was humming harder As the ceiling flew away When we called out for another drink The waiter brought a tray And so it was that later As the miller told his tale That her face, at first just ghostly, Turned a whiter shade of pale She said, "There is no reason And the truth is plain to see." As I wandered through my playing cards Why wouldn't I let her be One of sixteen vestal virgins Who were leaving for the coast And although my eyes were open wide They might have just as well been closed And so it was that later As the miller told his tale That her face, at first just ghostly, Turned a whiter shade of pale

She's the Chosen One - All music, drum programming and production by HG Schmitz. Lyrics and Vocals by SaGoBa. When HG posted this song as an instrumental about a month ago, I got so excited about it, I beat him up until he finally consented to let me try to write some lyrics and add a vocal. This is my feeble attempt to get back into ROCK AND ROLL! HG is an extremely gifted musician and I am proud to be a part of his project. To all my fando friends, I hope you get some enjoyment from this! I certainly enjoyed 'making some noise'........ sam lyrics: I can see now, I'm prone to extremes I forget how, It's just a matter of dreams Under water, Just gasping for air If I don't nail this, I'm goin' down in despair I can feel it, I'm not gonna run I'm gonna steal it, She's the Chosen One Walkin uptown, I'm startin my day My mind is downtown, Life just gets in the way Turn off that radio, I can't take it no more I'm gettin outa here, Just one knock on my door I can feel it, I'm not gonna run I can't conceal it, She's the Chosen One She's the Chosen One She's the Chosen One She's the Chosen One Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah She's the Chosen One Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah She's the Chosen One Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Every nite and day Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Every nite and day Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Every nite and day Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah It doesn't matter She's the Chosen one Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Every nite and day She's the Chosen One Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Come what may and She's the Chosen One Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah She's the Chosen One etc..... Higher Love - Steve Winwood and Will Jennings 1986 All instruments, drum programming and production by James Wilkas. Vocals by SaGoBa and Marilee Wilkas (James' sister). James Wilkas is a Master multi-instrumental Musician. Please also take a listen at Jim's page; http://www.fandalism.com/jimmididr/dch0 When he sent me the instrumental track, I was humbled and honored to be able to provide the vocal. Thank you Jimmy! Marilee Wilkas does a phenomenal job of taking the place of Chaka Khan, doing the harmony vocals. Music certainly runs strong in this family! Thank you, Marilee! lyrics Think about it, there must be higher love Down in the heart or hidden in the stars above Without it, life is a wasted time Look inside your heart, I'll look inside mine Things look so bad everywhere In this whole world, what is fair? We walk blind and we try to see Falling behind in what could be Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Where's that higher love I keep thinking of? Worlds are turning and we're just hanging on Facing our fear and standing out there alone A yearning, and it's real to me There must be someone who's feeling for me Things look so bad everywhere In this whole world, what is fair? We walk blind and we try to see Falling behind in what could be Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Where's that higher love I keep thinking of? Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Bring be a higher love I could rise above on a higher love I will wait for it I'm not too late for it Until then, I'll sing my song To cheer the night along Bring it... Oh bring it... I could light the night up with my soul on fire I could make the sun shine from pure desire Let me feel that love come over me Let me feel how strong it could be Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Bring me a higher love Where's that higher love I keep thinking of?

On and On - Stephen Bishop - 1976 This has been a favorite of mine for many years. Stephen Bishop is one the best songwriters of my generation and never got the recognition he deserved. He and I seemed to share the same 'woman troubles' that were the theme of many of his songs and so I was hooked. If you haven't heard his albums, I highly recommend them. He also wrote the hit from Phil Collins, Separate Lives. I hope you enjoy this as much as I love the song. SaGoBa played all instruments, sang, programmed the drums and produced the song. Lyrics Down in Jamaica, they got lots of pretty women Steal your money then they break your heart Lonesome Sue, she's in love with ol' Sam Take him from the fire into the frying pan On and on She just keeps on trying And she smiles When she feels like crying On and on, on and on, on and on Poor ol' Jimmy sits alone in the moonlight He saw his woman kiss another man So he takes a ladder, steals the stars from the sky Puts on Sinatra and starts to cry On and on He just keeps on trying And he smiles When he feels like crying On and on, on and on, on and on When the first time is the last time It can make you feel so bad But if you know it, show it Hold on tight, don't let her say, "Goodnight" I got the sun on my shoulders and my toes in the sand My woman's left me for some other man But I don't care, I'll just dream and stay tan Toss up my heart to see where it lands On and on I just keep on trying And I smile When I feel like dying On and on, on and on, on and on On and on, on and on, on and on On and on, on and on, on and on

Run out of Time - SaGoBa Original, written in 2011. This is an almost total re-make of the song. I dedicate this to my good friend, Doc Protool, who graciously offered and made the fantastic video. Doc is a genuinely humane person and one that i admire and respect as both a musician/artist and all-around great human being! Thank you, Doc. You are the king of FandoLand! The song is a plea for acceptance, while knowing the chance of that is running out. sam This is a SAGODOC production.

Roll with It - Steve Winwood 1988 written by Steve Winwood and Will Jennings I am very pleased to have had the help of James Wilkas, multi-instrumentalist, from Thomaston, Connecticut, (www.fandalism.com/jimmididr) who played all horns and the phenomenal Tenor Sax Solo. He also encouraged me to 'do the right thing' and helped with fine-tuning the mix. I am so impressed with his talent! Thank you, James! Plz go check out Jimmy's stuff on his page. You'll be glad you did! SaGoBa played all keys/synth/organ, programmed the drums, sang all vocals and produced the song. I again came away from this song, more amazed at the talent of Steve Winwood. To think he did all this 26 years ago is astonishing! As always, I hope this is enjoyed by my many friends here on Fandalism. It was a joy to bring it to you. Sam Lyrics: When life is too much, roll with it, baby Don't stop and lose your touch, oh no, baby Hard times knocking on your door I'll tell them you ain't there no more Get on through it, roll with it, baby Luck'll come and then slip away,You gotta move, bring it back to stay Chorus You just roll with it, baby Come on and just roll with it, baby You and me, roll with it, baby Hang on and just roll with it, baby The way that you love is good as money I swear by stars above, sweet as honey, People think you're down and out You show them what it's all about, You can make it, roll with it, baby When this world turns its back on you Hang in and do that sweet thing you do Chorus Now there'll be a day you'll get there, baby You'll hear the music play, you'll dance, baby You'll leave bad times way behind, Nothing but good times on your mind You can do it, roll with it, baby Then you'll see life will be so nice It's just a step up to paradise Chorus

While You See a Chance - Steve Winwood/Will Jennings I awoke early one morning in january 1981 to this song playing on my alarm clock radio. To this day (to me) it's one of the finest songs ever written and performed. My story with music is one of 'awakenings'. This song is one of those! When after 25 years of not owning an instrument and my wife not ever knowing me as a musician, I awoke in 2010 and began my music again. This song is one I had to perform live. I love Steve Winwood..... This is my 3rd attempt at getting this right. i just finished it 06-02-14. everything i release is a 'work in progress'. i never really get finished with anything! i received help from Doc Protool in getting the bass sound closer to the original. thank you, Doc! Doc has his own instrumental version of this song, on which he has asked me to provide the vocal. his version will be superior to mine. so, i will post this before Doc's version is posted! I hope you are able to enjoy it. Lyrics Stand up in a clear blue morning until you see what can be Alone in a cold day dawning, are you still free? Can you be? When some cold tomorrow finds you, when some sad old dream reminds you How the endless road unwinds you While you see a chance take it, find romance fake it Because it's all on you Don't you know by now no one gives you anything Don't you wonder how you keep on moving one more day your way When there's no one left to leave you, even you don't quite believe you That's when nothing can deceive you Stand up in a clear blue morning until you see what can be Alone in a cold day dawning, are you still free? Can you be? And that old gray wind is blowing and there's nothing left worth knowing And it's time you should be going

Hold on My Heart - cover - Genesis All instruments, drum programming, video and final production by Doc Protool. Vocal by SaGoBa. Vocal harmony by Claude Stonepaul, from London, England, who does an incredible job! I want to thank Doc for another opportunity to work with him. It is my honor and privilege. This is my 2nd cover project with him. The first time, I was totally blown away by his instrumental on Winwood's 'Valerie'. This time, I am in awe of his ability to absolutely nail the spirit of Genesis' ballad, sung by Phil Collins, 'Hold on My Heart'. I still get chills when I hear the high pitched legato synth sounds coming back to and during the final verse of the song. All I had to do was sing! Thank you, Doc for this opportunity. I am forever in your debt! For romantics everywhere, we give you 'Hold on My Heart'. Doc and sam

Prime Directive - 2013 - feat Danny Roffe Prime Directive - c 2013 Almost total remake of song written in 2013, as an ode to extra-terrestrials (if they're out there) to get involved with the affairs of earth. The song is #5 on my upcoming EP, titled B.V.I. Tales I was fortunate to gain the assistance of master guitarist, Danny Roffe, on this tune. Thank you, Danny! Song, lyrics, all keys, vox, drum programming and production by SaGoBa. Lyrics: Verse How long can this go on, You toying with our souls, You come and go just as you please We wait impatiently and wonder to ourselves, what else is there yet to prove Flying, spinning, glowing, Magic to our eyes We gaze up to the stars, To catch a glimpse of you Chorus Don't we have anything, To say about it (your prime directive) Please don't deny us anymore Come take away our fear, To face the future, (your prime directive) Help us to learn that we are more Verse How long has it been, Since you found us? How much misery was spared? Why do you think that you can, Torture us this way? Please bring us to a better day Take away, The blinders from your eyes See the crying, dying, Faces you can't hide Chorus Verse I know you think your mind is clearer, clearer, You keep our interests well in hand The time has come, it's getting nearer, nearer, You will take a different stand Flying, spinning, glowing, Still magic to our eyes We gaze up to the stars, To catch a glimpse of you Chorus

This Time - feat Danny Roffe and Six String Woody Original, written for the love of my life, my wife, Diane, in 2011. This is a re-posting. Danny originally worked with me on this song and I left his contribution alone (you can't improve perfection)! everything else has been re-worked and finally gotten into sync. I asked Six String Woody if he would add some slide to the verses and beginning and end. He graciously accepted and I am blessed by his terrific contribution! HG Schmitz inspired some of the arrangement and drum styling. Song, Keys, Bass, Vocals, Drum Programming and Production by SaGoBa. I can now say that i'm happy with the whole song! I hope it is also enjoyed by my wonderful friends here, on fandalism! Lyrics: She walked onto the stage, I knew then and there I had to offer her the part Well, she threw down the script and said 'no way' to my heart My gut was churnin', drove my saturn to the cistern and thot of runnin' away Being 2 times a loser, said I'd rather choose her and got back in the game I picked up the pages and asked her again if she'd star in my movie she took another look and started movin' closer to me Now, me and my baby, you know we're doin' fine Keeps gettin' sweeter, you know she's on my mind It started hot and fast, I thot it couldn't last, but it goes on and on She's my sweet sweet baby, just got to keep keepin' on Her bright eyes shine, she wakes each mornin' with the sun on her face I'll never understand how I run this race Now we're goin' strong, where has all the time gone, seems like just last week I saw her standin' there, caught her in my stare and my knees went weak Now, me and my baby, you know we're doin' fine Keeps gettin' sweeter, you know she's on my mind (2x) we're goin' strong, where has all the time gone, seems like just last week I saw her standin' there, caught her in my stare and my knees went weak

Invisible Touch - cover - Genesis - 1986 All instruments, vocal, drum programming and production by SaGoBa. Some of these tracks came from those I used to perform the song live from 2010-2013. Since I performed as a solo act, I had to do all the singing and so chose to lower the key on some songs to make it easier on my voice. This one should have been recorded in F, not D. For that I apologize. After trying my best to make this somewhat like the original, I came away with an even greater respect for Genesis, Phil Collins and the recording engineers. I hope my friends here on Fandalism find a way to enjoy this. Maybe I'll record it again in the original key..... Lyrics: Well I've been waiting, waiting here so long But thinking nothing, nothing could go wrong, ooh now I know She has a built in ability To take everything she sees And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her. She seems to have an invisible touch yeah She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart She seems to have an invisible touch yeah It takes control and slowly tears you apart. Well I don't really know her, I only know her name But she crawls under your skin, you're never quite the same, and now I know She's got something you just can't trust It's something mysterious And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her. She seems to have an invisible touch yeah She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart She seems to have an invisible touch yeah It takes control and slowly tears you apart. She don't like losing, to her it's still a game And though she will mess up your life, You'll want her just the same, and now I know She has a built in ability To take everything she sees And now it seems I've fallen, fallen for her. She seems to have an invisible touch yeah She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart She seems to have an invisible touch yeah It takes control and slowly tears you apart. She seems to have an invisible touch...

I Remember the Days (2014) SaGoBa - feat Brice Cross SaGoBa wrote the song and lyrics, played all keyboard instruments, programmed the drums, sang all parts and produced it. I was joined on the song by Fandalism's Brice Cross, brilliant guitarist and soloist. Many thanks to Brice for his outstanding contribution! This song was written as an ode to chidhood and growing up in the sleepy mid-western town of Hudson, Michigan. Please read along with the lyrics, so you are able to understand (as I'm not the clearest with enunciation). I hope this is enjoyed by everyone here and that it brings back some of your memories from childhood as well. Thank you, Brice! Lyrics: Verse Walkin' uptown, Chrissy by my side While in the dimestore, He'd be waitin' outside Didn't matter, how long I'd leave him alone I knew He'd be there, to walk me back home Well summer nights, seemed like they'd never end Playin' hide n seek and kick the can Next door those Winn kids were keepin' it right Never a day went by, without us findin' the night Chorus (It's all clear to me now) I still remember the nights (Seems like heaven to me) Yeah, I remember the days (No one can take it away) Well, I remember the nights (You know it's here to stay) Well, I remember the days Verse Fishtailin' down an old country road We took the Mercury, MG always drove For 50 cents, Mr Wheeler would cut our hair Then head on home yeah, with never a care I hear my mama, playin' on the old piano A bit of heaven right there, but how did we know? Matt Dillon and Ms Kitty, on Saturday night Some corn and pop, well you know it's alright Chorus Verse I'm gonna go back, I'll be there tonight On down to Grove Street, to see the light I'll be talkin' with all of my friends I'm playin' baseball, I'll live again I'll hear the laughter, I'll see all the fun Down to the ball field, where we did run Poles in the water, to the crick we did go Well if if I come back yeah, I'll make it real slow Chorus

Valerie - Written by Steve Winwood and Will Jennings and originally recorded by Winwood for his third solo album, Talking Back to the Night, in 1982. __________________________________________________________________ Lyrics: So wild, standing there, with her hands in her hair I can't help remember just where she touched me There's still no face here in her place So cool, she was like jazz on a summer's day Music, high and sweet, then she just blew away Now she can't be that warm with the wind in her arms Valerie, call on me-call on me, Valerie Come and see me-I'm the same boy I used to be Love songs fill the night, but they don't tell it all Not how lovers cry out just like they're dying Her cries hang there in time somewhere Someday, some good wind may blow her back to me Some night I may hear her like she used to be No it can't be that warm with the wind in her arms So cool, she was like jazz on a summer's day Music, high and sweet, then she just blew away Now she can't be that warm with the wind in her arms

SaGoBa played all instruments, programmed the drums and sang all parts. The song was recorded and produced by SaGoBa and Dustin Gould. I hope everyone gets some enjoyment from this! Lyrics: Anthony works in the grocery store Savin' his pennies for someday Mama Leone left a note on the door, She said, "Sonny, move out to the country." Workin' too hard can give you a heart attack You oughta know by now Who needs a house out in Hackensack? Is that all you get with your money? It seems such a waste of time If that's what it's all about If that's movin' up then I'm movin' out. Sergeant O'Leary is walkin' the beat At night he becomes a bartender He works at Mister Cacciatore's down On Sullivan Street Across from the medical center He's tradin' in his Chevy for a Cadillac You oughta know by now And if he can't drive With a broken back At least he can polish the fenders It seems such a waste of time If that's what it's all about If that's movin' up then I'm movin' out. You should never argue with a crazy mind You oughta know by now You can pay Uncle Sam with the overtime Is that all you get for your money? If that's what you have in mind, If that's what you're all about Mama, If that's movin' up then I'm movin' out.

Freedom Overspill - cover - Steve Winwood (feat Gregory M Hurley on slide guitar) All other music, vocals, drum programming and production by SaGoBa. Half of these tracks were taken from those i used to perform this song live. The rest were produced in the last couple weeks. Long live Steve Winwood....... Lyrics: Keep on talking all you want Well you don't waste a minute of time Who cares, who knows what's true Coffee and tears the whole night through Burning up on midnight oil And it's come right back on you Freedom Overspill, Freedom Overspill Force of habit, you could say, The way they talk, you're talking away Who cares, who knows, what's true Your wounded pride is burning you up Burning up on midnight oil And it's come right back on you Freedom Overspill, Freedom Overspill You're sounding good to me now, Keep talking on I want to hear the worst, You got no right going around Talking 'bout the things that you do about the things you do

Wrapped around your Finger - The Police - Written by Sting - 1983 All music played, programmed, vocals and production by SaGoBa. Most of the tracks were produced by me to perform the song live. I re-recorded the drum tracks into 5 separate tracks for this recording. I hope it is enjoyed by all my friends here on fandalism. It is a remarkable piece of songwriting by Sting! I love the Police!

You could Take my Heart away - Silver Condor - 1981Written by John CoreySaGoBa played all instruments, programmed drums, sang and produced the song.John Corey, who wrote ... read morethis song, is my first cousin. Altho we didn't see much of one another during childhood, we bumped into each other in bands in the late 60's in Detroit. I went off to college in 1970 and John continued on in music. He recorded this song with Silver Condor, which included guitarist Earl Slick. Later, John joined the touring band of Rod Stewart in the mid '80's. He then teamed with Don Henley, for the album, End of the Innocence, on which he co-wrote the hit, The last worthless evening. He went on to tour with The Eagles on their “Hell freezes over tour and just last year was a backup musician for The Who on their U.S. And European tour. LyricsYou could take my heart away tonight You could take my heart away tonightCome on girl reach into my life Keep what you want if you hold on tightYou could take my heart away tonightYou could be my dream machine tonightYou could be my dream machine tonight You caught me turning out the light Don't let me down keep me up all nightYou could take my heart away tonightYou could help me find a way You could fill these empty days You could take my heart away tonight, oh babyIf you should walk away I'll be alright I could play it cool with all my mightI could fake it through this lonely lifeYou could take my heart away tonight You could take my heart away tonight Come on girl reach into my life If not forever maybe once or twiceYou could take my heart away Let me know what part to playYou could take my heart away tonight Lead me through this lonely lifeYou could take my heart away tonightTake me all the way tonightTake me all the way tonightAll the way, all the wayTake me all the way tonight

Everybody wants to Rule the World - 1985 - Tears for Fears (cover) Writer(s) Roland Orzabal, Ian Stanley, Chris Hughes I performed all instrumental parts, sang the vocal and produced it. The tracks were originally produced to use by me when I performed live, up till 2013. I hope it is enjoyed by all my fando friends! Lyrics Welcome to your life, There's no turning back Even while WE sleep, We will find you Acting on your best behaviour, Turn your back on mother nature, Everybody wants to rule the world It's my own design, It's my own remorse Help me to decide, Help ME make the most Of freedom and of pleasure Nothing ever lasts forever, Everybody wants to rule the world There's a room where the light won't find you Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down When they do I'll be right behind you So glad we've almost made it So sad they had TO fade it Everybody wants to rule the world I can't stand this indecision Married with a lack of vision Everybody wants to rule the world Say that you'll never never never NEVER need it One headline why believe it ? Everybody wants to rule the world All for freedom and for pleasure Nothing ever lasts forever Everybody wants to rule the world

At Ramon's - SaGoBa - I wrote this song in 1987 as a tribute to a life-long friend, Ward Alan MacCready (1952-2013). He helped me get thru some dark times in the early 90's. Much of the lyrics are from the banter we shared while having lunch at our favorite eatery and pub, Ramon's, in OldTown Lansing, Michigan. I now dedicate this re-make to him. I am honored to once again have Fandalism's gifted Danny Roffe, join me on guitar. He always raises my songs to a different level. Thanks, Danny! I wrote, sang, played all instruments (except guitar), programmed the drums and produced the song. (all rights reserved) Lyrics Verse Seeing, the world thru different eyes Eyes that search for peace, The politics of relief Knowing, that with each passing day Time will block our view, Of how we see me and you I think I know, What I'm trying to say to you What I think we should do Chorus I'll meet you at Ramon's, to be there is the plan I'll be wearing the Italian suit, So you'll know who I am I'll meet you at Ramon's, I'm with you all the way The talent and the 80's look, Oh what can I say Verse Lifetimes, We see ours split in two One is left behind, Forever to remind Fortune, Is that part left to run Let's steal a glance thru time Lock on the grand design I guess I know, What I'm trying to say Bridge Once (or maybe twice), If you're lucky you'll find A lifelong friend, Who's made up their mind To run beside you, When you're running away I think I know, What I'm trying to say Chorus

While You See a Chance - Steve Winwood/Will Jennings i apologize for posting this again. i deleted the song on soundcloud, which made it inaccessible here on fando. so, as a result of HG's insistence, i reworked the drums and also removed some blemishes. so, here it is YET again..... I awoke early one morning in 1981 to this song playing on my alarm clock radio. This Track came from my own sequenced tracks I used to play this live. Sorry for the quality. I hope you enjoy it.

Frenchman's Cay - SaGoBa - Remake of this original written in early 2013 as an ode to Gary Brooker and Procol Harum. This song will be the first song on my upcoming album, B.V.I. Tales. I wrote the song, play all instruments, vocals and produce it. (copyright 2013) Lyrics Verse He set the sails, Pushed out to sea Never thinking, How soon it would be Tho he was certain, He'd find his way home The boat lay anchored And he was sorely alone Chorus Come stormy seas, Come take me away Let me be unbroken, Until my dyin' day Verse Born a sailor, Then drifted away Awakened by fate, The Blue calling his name Fair winds surrounded him, Pushed him port to port White Bay to Spanish Town, Then back to the north Chorus Verse Skies grew dark and threatened, From the north it did blow There was no confusion, On which course he would go Miles off the heading, Any port in a storm Finding shelter on Frenchman's Cay, Tried to keep himself warm Chorus Verse Fear filled the brewhouse, Locals tied him fast No words were spoken, Him hanging from the mast Look back and wonder, Where the wonder has gone They cut the ropes upon the tide, Lost to the sea all along Chorus

Run out of Time - SaGoBa Written in late 2011, this tune was my reaction to the isolation I felt when performing in the mid-Michigan area. This is a almost total remake of the song, as I prepare for my upcoming album, B.V.I. Tales. I play all instruments (real and virtual), program the drums and produce the song (all rights reserved). Lyrics: Verse Can I do anything, good enough for you Or, will you leave me sittin' here, wishin' I was through can I get a response, Look at me just once Make me think there's a chance for me tonite Verse Will you thank me when I'm done, you know it's up to you It means so much to me, kindness it rings true I'm payin' the price, look at me now twice Make me think there's a chance for me tonite Chorus I've run out of time, Can't wait anymore I'm givin' my best, I'm gonna Keep on pushin', Till I Know, There's a reason, to be in this place Verse Can I do anything, good enough for you Or, will you leave me sittin' here, wishin' I was through can I get a response, Look at me just once Make me think there's a chance for me tonite Chorus I've run out of time, Can't wait anymore I'm givin' my best, Can't wait anymore I've run out of time, Can't wait anymore I'm payin the price, Can't wait anymore I've run out of time, Yeah............... I'm gonna keep, Keep on pushin' Till I Know, There's a reason to be in this place Gotta know tonite, I gotta know tonite Can you hear me, Can you see me

This Time - SaGoBa - Feat the Fando master , Danny Roffe on guitars and solo. Dedicated to my wife, Diane, this song was written in early 2012. this is a re-make, with a new bass part, re-mix-re-master. Inspiration by HG Schmitz. (All Rights Reserved). Lyrics Verse She walked onto the stage, I knew then and there I had to offer her the part Well, she threw down the script and said 'no way' to my heart My gut was churnin', drove my saturn to the cistern and thot of runnin' away Being 2 times a loser, said I'd rather choose her and got back in the game I picked up the pages and asked her again if she'd star in my movie she took another look and started movin' closer to me Chorus Now, me and my baby, you know we're doin' fine Keeps gettin' sweeter, you know she's on my mind Verse It started hot and fast, I thot it couldn't last, but it goes on and on She's my sweet sweet baby, just got to keep keepin' on Her bright eyes shine, she wakes each mornin' with the sun on her face I'll never understand how I run this race Now we're goin' strong, where has all the time gone, seems like just last week I saw her standin' there, caught her in my stare and my knees went weak Chorus Now, me and my baby, you know we're doin' fine Keeps gettin' sweeter, you know she's on my mind (2x) Verse we're goin' strong, where has all the time gone, seems like just last week I saw her standin' there, caught her in my stare and my knees went weak

Edge of the World - SaGoBa Written by and all instruments* and vocal by SaGoBa (all rights reserved). *Guitar Solo by Fandalism's Master Guitarist, Danny Roffe. Once again I am honored to have Danny contribute to one of my songs. He matches (if not exceeds) the passion and intensity I feel in this ballad, which is another homage to the tremendous songwriter, Gary Brooker. Thank you Danny. I'm forever in your debt........ sam Lyrics Verse As I look over, The edge of the world tonite,I wonder why my fears have kept me frozen, All these years If I could do it over, If there was another chance for me,Would I have the courage to strip away, these clothes to bare my soul? Chorus One life, One crossroad,One spoken word, Or left unsaid,Is all that matters Regret, Misfortune,No one can change, What's gone before,Only the latter, No one can save you from yourself Verse Altho it's nearly over, The edge of the world tonite, I still wonder why chances come my way,To right the wrongs of yesterday Is someone watching over, The edge of the world tonite,Will we ever know, Our questions, will they ever go Away? Chorus One life, One crossroad,One spoken word, Or left unsaid,Is all that matters Regret, Misfortune,No one can change, What's gone before,Only the latter, No one can save you from yourself

Prime Directive - Featuring Fandalism's own Danny Roffe on guitars. Remake of original song, written in 2013. Special thanks to Danny Roffe, for outstanding Guitar work and Solo, without who's help, this would not have been possible. Also special thanks to Dustin Gould, for help with production (and for moving the football)........ SaGoBa Lyrics How long can this go on, You toying with our souls, You come and go just as you please We wait impatiently and wonder to ourselves, what else is there yet to prove Flying, spinning, glowing, Magic to our eyes We gaze up to the stars, To catch a glimpse of you (Chorus) Don't we have anything, To say about it (your prime directive) Please don't deny us anymore Come take away our fear, To face the future, (your prime directive) Help us to learn that we are more (Verse) How long has it been, Since you found us? How much misery was spared? Why do you think that you can, Torture us this way? Bring us a better day Take away, The blinders from your eyes See the crying, dying, Faces you can't hide (Chorus) Don't we have anything, To say about it (your prime directive) Please don't deny us anymore Come take away our fear, To face the future, (your prime directive) Help us to learn that we are more (Verse) I know you think your mind is clearer, clearer, You keep our interests well in hand The time has come, it's getting nearer, nearer, You will take a different stand Flying, spinning, glowing, Still magic to our eyes We gaze up to the stars, To catch a glimpse of you Chorus) Don't we have anything, To say about it (your prime directive) You can't deny us anymore Come take away our fear, To face the future, (your prime directive) Help us to learn that we are more
