How long have you been playing?
Guitarist since age 12.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Got to see Page & Plant at Greatwoods back when I was about 11 or 12.
What gear do you use?
My Martin acoustic is my prize possession; used to belong to Mike Turner (R.I.P.). I have an old Ibanez RG electric guitar, and currently play a Cort Artisan A-5 5-string bass. I also have a few acoustics kicking around and an Ibanez SDGR 5-string bass.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Too many to list.....but for a start, Alice N Chains, STP, Tool, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against the Machine, Days of the New, Snot, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Live, KoRn, Incubus, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Doors, Sublime, Faith No More, E-Town Concrete, Deftones, Pink Floyd, Pantera.....90's stuff and classic rock mostly. Then got more into metal (Killswitch, Lamb of God, All That Remains, etc.) and guitarists/singers like Jeff Buckley, Travis Meeks (even moreso), and Andy McKee (current favorite). I have also finally realized that The Beatles really just are the best band ever.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I'm currently the bassist and a songwriter for Radiosilence. Previously I played bass in Big Bang Baby (STP tribute) and before that, 3 Minute Theory. I also played acoustic guitar in the 3-man shitshow Sportin' Wood.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Jesus......not really Jesus tho, the question just caught me. Andy McKee. Just to watch and hopefully soak in the greatness. And definitely Travis Meeks.....on one of his good days. Also Jeff Buckley, if he were alive. And Ian Thornley. I'd love to jam with Maynard James Keenan. Or create an acoustic rap album with Biggie Smalls.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Biggest - Couple/few hundred. Would love to play to thousands someday.
Fewest - Our girlfriends/wives, and maybe one or two barely conscious people.

You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
WHAM's greatest hits......just kidding.
Live's "Throwing Copper" is one of my all-time favorites. Radiohead's "OK Computer." Several Beatles albums.....Led Zeppelin IV......Foo Fighters' "The Colour and the Shape"......Alice N Chains' MTV Unplugged album.......and maybe Jeff Buckley's "Grace."
I know that's several. Fuck off.
