Guitar: Where Is My Stolen Child Tonight (Including lyrics and chords) Fellow autoharp player Dan Schatz from America, uploaded a video a few weeks ago of a song, originally written by Robert Lowry (1877) under the title "Where is my Wandering Boy Tonight" which in the light of what is happening in the USA at the present time Dan wrote new lyrics to the verses. I asked Dan's permission to cover his song using my guitar for accompaniment as he has already done a very moving version on the autoharp. (https://youtu.be/8JPvgTC76D4). Dan wrote the following with his upload: The practice of separating migrant children from their parents and placing them in prisons and detention camps represents one of the cruelest moments in American history. Sadly, in 2019, some families have not been reunited. The practice of separation continues, albeit on a smaller scale - immigration agents can simply claim suspicion of a crime committed by their parents, or express doubt about their parentage, to justify taking a child away. Somme children have been taken for no reason other than their parent's inability to produce a birth certificate. The tragedy and cruelty of child separation led me to write this song - a rewrite of an 1877 song, "Where is My Boy Tonight?" So with permission granted, here is my version.

ELECTRIC UPSIDE DOWN CAKE by Nick108 I called this ELECTRIC UPSIDE DOWN CAKE in memory of Jimi Hendrix album ELECTRIC LADY LAND, why upside down cake? Because like the upside down cake made in reverse this track also was done in reverse late last night after I said I would go to bed early but I got my second wind and off we went. So we did pads and sequences first, then keys and synths, then electric guitars, then the bases, then the beats. So enjoy and Rock on, ah we did the whole thing in FL Studio. So now I think I will have a break for a while, but don't be surprised if I get an inspiration at two am and just continue. Ah its like an addiction, once you start, sleep, what is that? Enjoy.

This project was initiated on September the 19th 2016. I had posted on Facebook the original YES track like I often do with any song I admire… Fred was the one who proposed the challenge of covering this huge Progressive Rock Classic. Before Tedd, Peter and myself could give it a thought or two, he had already recorded some of the keyboard tracks. We all plunged in afterwards. The project was an on and off thing for the most part, but when it was time to work on it, it was always very serious business. It was decided very early in the process that both Tedd and I would take the production. He would treat the music while I would treat the vocals. It was an unbelievable experience for me to co-produce this one with Tedd whose stature is known by all. I think it all turned out pretty good in the end. As for the video, I didn’t want to take the production because of some serious health issues and the very unreliable software I’m used to work with… Freddy took that responsibility and I thank him so much for doing so. Unfortunately, Peter and Tedd were not able to provide Freddy with much drum and singing sequences… Oh Well ! It’s the music that really counts anyway ! So here it is, 2 and a half years later. We’re all very proud to present this project which was meant to be an incredible journey for the four of us. My most sincere thanks to my mates Peter, Fred and Tedd for their tight knitted professionalism. I find myself being a very lucky man to be rubbing shoulders with these amazing musicians. You guys are truly the bests. Thanks to all of you for daring listening to this 19 minute piece of joy. --Richard

Close to the Edge – a cover of the song by YES featuring Richard Trudeau, Peter Goindi, Fred White and myself. Over the almost 2 years it took us to pull this one together we all went through some real changes (health issues, technical difficulties, etc.), but here we are at the finish line at last. CttE, in all it's 18+ minute glory, is the mother of all prog rock songs, and being able to play it with such talented friends is a personal high point in my “career” as a musician. If you are looking for interesting music performed by some amazing players, you should really check out these Fandalism pages: Richard Trudeau (http://dev213.fandalism.com/bodhisattva435) – guitars, lead and bg vox, vocal production Peter Goindi (http://dev213.fandalism.com/petergoindi) – drums Fred White (http://dev213.fandalism.com/tader) – keyboards, bg vox, video production Hope you all enjoy this. It's a little on the long side, but worth every minute. Cheers!
