Graht Degnan - Lyrics - Jim Morrison raised the dead,
Grace Slick fed your head,
legendary music felt and heard
for the beatles sang their tune
during a sad springs day
in the month of june
Oh rock stars
driving fancy cars
girls - girls - girls
and the wiskey bars
oh rock stars
near and a far
gotta love the rock stars
Led Zepplin sang about rock and roll and they say Ozzy sold his soul
The Stones kept on rolling as Santana kept on exploring
The Grateful dead - a paradise lost but never forgotten
And you gotta remember Johnny Rotten
Joplin and Hendrix,The Doors of course and the magic of Styx..
Eric Clapton playing his blues
everyday people reading the news having no worries
Having no cares
The poet Dylan
Tangled is jest
Alice Cooper, the master fright
Of all nightmares a catalyst for all the rest.
Oh rock stars driving fancy cars girls - girls -girls and the whiskey bars
oh rock stars near and a far gotta love the rock stars
Madonna enticed us all
Can you believe what we just saw
Grandfunk railroad caught their train out
Muddy waters and howling wolf showed us what the blues are about
Areosmith taught us what rock and roll is
Mansion and the house upon the hill-
winders creek and the little yellow pill
Sex and drugs
drugs and sex
its a beautiful mess
so how about a game of chess
Tool, putting it all together
Where is axle rose, that is anybody's guess
The unveiling masks of Kiss
and Iggy Pop taking a piss
Kid rock kicking ass
Ronnie van zant, is surly missed
so many rock stars
near and afar
all for the expression of their soul
Along with that fancy car
U2 are true visionaries
Gospel singers signing their missionaries
Snoop Dog and the rappers hip -hopping down the rabbits trail while smoking a splith those golden beats , such a gift
Give peace a chance all for a dollar or two
come one lets put on your red shoes
and dance the blues
What else is there to do except
Except stay stoned, Imaculate
Wild and free
You gotta love rock stars
riving fancy cars girls - girls -girls and the whiskey bars
oh rock stars near and a far
You gotta love rock stars
