Since always!
Learned some basic piano from my mom when i was a kid.
Figured it out as i went along.
Been writing music since i was 12.
As a kid I performed Bee Gee and Beatle songs with my family, on several occasions.
Have been really focussing on my own songs and performing my own stuff when I had it all a bit more together, around 2007.
Have always been on stage in one musical way or another, bands, acoustic duo, and often just me on piano. I made two albums, the third one is on its way.

What are you looking for from Fandalism?
Exposure / Inspiring and surprising listeners
I hope my music can mean something to someone
What gear do you use?
Basic piano and midi keyboard. Yamaha and Roland.
Worked with some electronics for my last album, which I love doing.
Im a big synthesizer fan
But i love to play a grand piano
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
I guess The Beatles (together and solo) formed my foundation from a young age.
Lots and lots of styles influenced me later on, too much to mention,
but for instance, Kate Bush, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Valensia, Paul McCartney, Astrud Gilberto, Charles Aznavour, lots of 90s RnB stuff, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Radiohead
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Yes and yes but I also like to play solo gigs
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney.
Because. Well. Duh.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Full Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam! Like 6000 people.
Smallest would be house gigs, where I played for just a hand full of people in a living room. Both I loved. Both are incredibly exciting and nerve wrecking and proud of it still, proud of my band
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Im afraid that after being stuck on an island even the most wonderful music will get old.
But Ill go for something versatile that I can always listen to. Probably a McCartney album.
