I've been singing as long as I've been breathing.....
What was the first concert you ever went to?
David Bowie - Serious Moonlight Tour. It was my first concert without a 'parent or guardian'. I remember really enjoying the show, but wishing it was Ziggy and the Spiders - I'd wanted to hear all the songs I loved most - his earlier stuff. Yeah. I was 11.
What gear do you use?
I've been told I don't need a microphone.
My theory is: I don't needa gun.... I gotta microphone.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
30's-50's jazz. 30's-60'sHollywood Musicals. I discovered Bah-bra's voice thru her musicals... as well as Sinatra's. something in the clarity of their vocal ability is like a hot knife thru butter. And I'm the butter. But I don't own any of their work.... Billie Holliday. Gospel brings me to tears (in a good way). Influences? Chaka. Ann Wilson. Hmmm......
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Ceiling Unlimited was my first 'official' band (2004). Our last show was 9/10. but I'm always working on something, whether it's projects of others or my own. Looking forward to making an announcement in the near future.... ;)
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Largest audience is unknown.... couple of hundred I'm sure.
Smallest crowd? Counting the sound guy?
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Songs in the Key of Life.
Dog & Butterfly
Dark Side of the Moon
