I have been singing and playing air guitar and drums since I could talk and move.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
My first concert was KISS at the CNE in Toronto. What was memorable about it? It was fuckin' KISS man!
What gear do you use?
Mostly SURE mics...AUDIO TECHNICA wireless...p.a's...not fussy. Whatever the clubs I play have. lol.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Watching my mom sing probably had the biggest impact on me as far as singing goes. Watching her get up with a band and bust out some Patsy Cline and bust out harmonies the way she did was pretty wicked! As far as "rock star", Sebastian Bach made me want to be a singer/frontman. Skid Row, in their prime, was everything I wanted my band to be. They were the first band I was into hardcore. Watching Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue...when Vince Neil raises his had to what looks like thousands of people that want his blood....I knew I wanted that! Once I discovered Alice In Chains and Faith no More music changed for me, FOREVER!
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I am currently in a band called 2SF with my very good friend and amazing musician Roman Bari! He is bringing out some very serious energy in me! We used to tour together in separate bands and we were always on our own being assholes to people and connecting a little different than everyone else. Probably because we have the same sick, disgusting sense of humour.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
My dream band of artists who are no longer with us would be ME, CLIFF, DIME and BONZO. If we couldn't write a great song then there is no hope left in the world! To collaborate? TOMMY LEE, hands down! So underrated and so much more than a drummer! Jack of all trades...master of none but fuck...I love most of what he does! From his DJ/techno stuff to his solo stuff to his Motley stuff. Amazing!
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
From hundreds to a couple. I will play ANYWHERE!!
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Dirt, Angel Dust or the first The Used album...I don't know if I could choose between them. They are the most kickass, unique and genre setting albums of their time. PERIOD!
