Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Being an original B3 player, I used to love Richard Groove Holmes and Jimmy Smith. Then, I would also love Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix, a ton of great R&B artists, The Beatles and so on.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I've been in numerous bands and have toured all over the U.S., Canada, England and Europe playing on big shows with Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Genesis, The Doors, Wilson Pickett, Jr. Walker, Manfred Mann, Steve Winwood and many others. I lived in London for several years and I played with Tuckey Buzzard and Khan (Steve Hillage) but I left and moved back to Toronto and then L.A.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
As I play a lot of different styles of music, jamming would be a joy with a varierty of talented players.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
The biggest concert was in Toronto about 30,000 people. Biggest audience in Montreux, Switzerland televised throught Europe. Smallest was in Old Montreal at the Black Bottom jazz club. I was playing B3 with a drummer.
