Started playing guitar and singing in the 6th grade.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
It was probably Leon Russell at Convention Hall in Asbury Park with my sister. Early 70's
What gear do you use?
I have an early 70's Les Paul, A Strat, a Aria 24 fret neck through Thor Sound with active pickups and my most recent is a Charvel with 24 frets, neck through and active pickups. They all play really well but I'm enjoying the Charvel right now. I own several amps.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
The Allman Brothers Band for sure.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I'm in the Scenic City Soul Revue with Robert Grier, Phil Kurtz, Tim Hughes and Sean Cloud in Chattanooga, TN. We're beginning to play much more with many shows on the books.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
There are so many people I'd like to jam with and have with some really cool players. Probably too many to mention.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
I've played some very large venues including Gilley's when it was still there, The Jackson Civic Auditorium, Columbus Civic Auditorium, Murphy Center and Vanderbilt Stadium are some of the larger ones. I've also played in very small venues which is very cool because it it's up close and personal.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
