What gear do you use?
Pearl Masters Series 5 piece. Gretsch jazz kit. DW 5 piece. Lot's of percussion including Djembe, Congas, etc. My favorite snare drum is made by Beier Drums.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
First bands would be my moms faves which were The Beatles, Bee Gees and Beach Boys. Later it would be Kiss, The Cars, Cheap Trick, Queen, Ac/Dc, UFO, Scorpions, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Thin Lizzy. The I rediscovered The Beatles and became a fan of bands like Jellyfish, Crowded House, Elvis Costello, Tom Petty, Harry Nillsson, Aimee Mann, Badfinger, etc. I basically gravitate towards melodic hard rock, power-pop and singer/songwriter stuff.

I play drums and write songs for Throwback Suburbia. And yes, I have been in LOT'S of bands...

What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Biggest: 12, 000 playing Lilith Fair at Civic Stadium-Portland 1999 Also performed on the TV show "Soundcheck" on NBC in 1992 to millions of viewers. Smallest: Probably some coffee shop in Seattle..
