I studied drums in High School playing with the Concert, Symphonic, Marching, Rally and Jazz bands. I bought my first guitar when I was 18, I was gigging with Commander Casual and the Cool Cat Crusaders by 25. I have played drums for Low Tech, Ruderalis, Walt the Dog and The Ideal Husbands. I have played guitar with String Theories, The Disciples of Beer, The S.H.O.W Band, The Healer Trio and Thieves of Reason and I front Ik Nak Fu as a vocalist.

Day on the Green 1977 The Outlaws, Santana, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Peter Frampton
What gear do you use?
Gibson, Martin, Epiphone, Ludwig, Paiste, Line 6, my favorite is probably my newest acquisition a Gibson SG.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?

I front and write the music for Thieves of Reason, I play lead guitar and sing back-up vocals for The Nigel Angst Band, I play drums for Grand Mal and sing for Ik Nak Fu, Next gig June 3rd at Furb on the Green VII, McNears Beach Park, San Rafael Noon-7
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
I would have liked to drum for Hendrix, that doesn't need an explanation.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Bob Weir sat in with The Healer Trio on March 20th, 2010, 2 the 2 am Club in Mill Valley, he played 8 songs with us including a 9 minute 'Not Fade Away' and my favorite moment, "Friend of the Devil" You can find these on youtube under 'Bob Weir and The Healer Trio
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Led Zeppelin 1. Best first album track in the history of Rock. First track is the greatest Rock song ever written. The rest of the album not so shabby either.
