What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first concert I *remember* was New Kids On the Block in Shreveport, LA. I went with my mom, my bestie, Jessica Greer, and several other little girls screaming with glee. I remember singing all their hits on the way to the big show in a van. Then when we finally got into the stands, I cried A LOT--not because I was seeing my heartthrobs live, but because my ears were so sensitive to the loud music--and the boys of NKOTB looked like ants since we were so far away! Lol...
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Oldies--anything from the 50's, 60's and 70's. My mom listened to the oldies radio station 24/7, basically, so I got a nice, steady diet of them! I wouldn't trade it for the world though--those oldies artists taught me to listen carefully and pick out my own harmonies!
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Our band's name is Collage No. 7 (look us up on Facebook!), and it's basically Light Rock. My husband, Sandy, and I formed the band after writing some songs together and recording two albums full of originals.
We play shows whenever and wherever! We also do cover shows, if need be. We like it all! ^_^
I am also singing for a Country band, which I swore I'd never do, but in this tiny town in Texas, it's all these people wanna hear. Go figure! o.O

If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
k.d. lang--I would ADORE a crooning session with her. *swoon*
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Pink Floyd - Meddle. My favorite song, "Pillow of Winds" is on it, and I would more than likely be very chill despite the fact that I'm all alone on a desert island if I were listening to that particular record. Honestly, not to sound overly sentimental, a high school boyfriend loved and introduced me to Pink Floyd. We used to listen to their records in his room after school. Beautiful thoughts emerge every time I hear it. It calms the soul.
"Land of the Free"--pretty self-explanatory! ;)

Having selected "Indie Rock," I honestly have no idea WHAT to call our music. Perhaps you can help?
This song is entitled "Ode to the Overpass."
