Mongo Santamaria, Rey Boretto, Armando Perraza, Francisco Aguabella, Poncho Sanchez.
When I was growing up listening to LPs & 45's I would always listen for the conga drum players, I was always captivated by their artistry. Some had strength, some had stamina

Currently I am working with/in: Mystique (San Jose, Ca.) - SAPO (S.F. Bay Area) - Ray McCoy - Luther Vandross Tribute (Oakland, Ca.) & Joe Cano (Seattle, Wash.) I also do a array of studio work/sessions

Tito Puente... He is simply the best, his arrangements were such that every musician shined.
