I have always loved singing but only in groups,choirs or as part of a duet. I live in Wales and every year we have a huge competition throughout Wales involving singing,poetry,dancing, crafts,art etc.it's a biog event. This is called an Eisteddfod. I always competed in many different competitions throughout primary and secondary school but was always too shy to sing on my own, My husband has boosted my confidence and encouraged me to write and sing songs. He writes the music and plays all the instruments.It's something that we like to do together.

My first concert was Depeche Mode in Top Rank, Cardiff.I went with a friend. It seems like a lifetime ago. I tried so hard to look cool and unimpressed. Inside I was bursting with excitement !!!

Unfortunately I don't play any instruments.

I'm not in a band.

It has got to be Purple Rain by Prince. So many memories. I was 19 when this came out.Purple was the in colour. Paisley was the print. Prince was the man.My sister was mad on Prince too. He is so talented. He plays so many instruments. Guitar was awesome in "when doves cry ".This album moved me in so many ways.It always lifts me.You can't be miserable when you're listening to this.It packs a punch,bursts with energy and life. When I listen to it I'm transported back in time.I will never tire of it.Vinyl has more style than any cd or mp3.
