How long have you been playing?
I've been playing guitar since 2001. I was 15 years old. I decided to play guitar one day when I was living in Oakville. My sister was playing pennyroyal tea by Nirvana in the back yard on her acoustic and I instantly wanted to play guitar. I haven't put it down since:)
What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first concert I ever went to was to see Korn and Trust Company at the Air Canada Center in Toronto on Dec 4th, 2002. What was memorable was the loudness and the smell of marijuana all around me.
What gear do you use?
I have an Ibanez Prestige, a special Fender strat from Korea, a cheap Montana Acoustic and I still have my first electric guitar. Which is a Oscarschmidt by Washburn.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
My biggest musical influence growing up was Randy Rhoads. I liked him cause he was a great composer and all of his solos sounded unique. I guess I got into him cause my mom played and sisters all listened to Ozzy so I heard it quite frequently around the house as a child.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I'm currently in 2 bands. One is called $5 Pitchers which is a rock/alternative cover band and the other is a band called Erebos which I guess is kind of a thrash metal band. I play out almost every weekend.
The first band I played in was a band called Tenfold in high school. That was a punk band. After that I formed a Thrash/Death metal band called Illinium.

If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
If I could jam with anyone it would have to be Allan Holdsworth. Allan is an alien on guitar and just listening to him you get the idea this guy knows everything. I would love to study under him to try and understand a little better what he does on the guitar.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
The biggest audience I've ever played in front of was actually my first show. It was prom party and there was a few hundred people. The smallest crowd was to about 3 people. Got to love those gigs, haha.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
I would bring a compilation album of a bunch of my favourite artist, haha. I would too many different styles of music to be happy with just bringing one album. So a mix cd I make would have to do.
