I began writing Poetry in the 4th grade, then began writing songs to the pre recorded music on my casio at 12. When i turned about 22 i picked up my guitar and began writing songs and original compositions as well as recording beats through garageband. I released my self produced, written EP Sandbox in 2011 which featured six original compositions with some really incredible musicians on it. I am excited to share my next project!
What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first concert i ever attended was a Red Hot Chili Pepper concert! I spent time from a young age with that band and was invited onstage to dance when i was 13. It was definitely a kick ass time and set the stage for many more concerts!
What gear do you use?
I have lots of drums in my home, congas, sourdos, snares, but my favorite instrument is my eternal guitar! I write everything on there. O man, but i have a Mark 1 Rhodes as well which is the first thing i bought a while back. Tat thing holds a lot of sentimental value and memory :-)
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Oooooo probably Stevie Wonder, i can tell he is just so open with his writing and i know i would learn so much just from listening to him create!
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Biggest: about 500 people
smallest: 1 person
I really enjoyed performing at The Last Bookstore in downtown Los Angeles! The acoustics were unreal!
