I started playing guitar when I was about 11. My father was a working musician so there were always instruments around to play with.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
I honestly don't know for sure when it was or who, when I was a child my parents took me to concerts and music festivals. My best guess is Fleetwood Mac at Compton Terrace in Tempe AZ with my mom and dad
What gear do you use?
I have a couple of guitars, my favorite is my flat black Ibanez. I also have keyboards, a bass, and a couple of acoustic guitars that my kids are playing on.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
My father, he was playing professionally before I was even born. I was his roadie at a very young age.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I am not in a band now. I am working on a solo heavy metal project.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
The largest gig I've played was back when I was in Suburban Dread, as the guitarist. We headlined the Jerry Garcia Bob Marley festival at Estella Mountain Ranch. There were about 3000 people. The smallest place I have ever played is my cousin Tom's laundry room for practice...
