Christmas 1975 was when I got my first "real" set of drums, so it's where I consider my start...drums are just in me, I could play as soon as I sat down...if there's a 'drumming-gene' I passed it along to my son as he's a natural as well
What was the first concert you ever went to?
first concert was Joe Walsh 1978 with my older brother...really only memorable because it was my first...first truly memorable concert was Rush 11/7/1982, my first of many Rush concerts to come
What gear do you use?

Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
I cut my drumming teeth to the first 2 Boston albums and "Hotel California" and "The Long Run" by the Eagles...needed to grow beyond these so a friend introduced me to Rush; I believe "Spirit of Radio" was my first exposure in 1980 and I had never heard drumming like that; I was hooked
