I was 15 when i picked up a guitar, I felt like i was growing up with a hole, and that hole was filled when I started playing music. Ever since then I've never put down an instrument.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
It was avenged sevenfold, I love it because Synyster Gates was my favourite guitarist at the time. Definitely was an awesome concert!
What gear do you use?
I own a Cole Clark Fat lady three, a lot of busking money went into this baby, But it was worth every cent. It's got my blood, sweat, and tears all over it..
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
I was into a bit of everything. But i use to be more of a shredder, so i love my steve vai. He is definitely a guitar god.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I'm in a band at the moment, it's just called Ryan Dingle. I've always grown up with a rock background, but i've only recently got into classical/ Orchestral Arrangements, so i decided to try and collaborate the two. I do a lot of solo singing acoustic gigs. But you can catch my band on www.facebook.com/ryandinglemusic
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Jeff Buckley, Just seems like a really down to earth guy, i can tell he plays straight from the heart. Would be a sick jam, i could just see us jamming, and being so heavily under musical meditation that hours would go by
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
I played for a burlesque contest, so playing and singing infront of 600 people, half of them being half naked women was definitely a memorable performance. But my biggest performance would be in front of 1500, and smallest would be in front of a couple of people.
