I was about 9 years old when I started playing guitar. I was born into a musical family, and I was inspired to start playing when my cousin was living with us and played a Old Fender American Made Strat my Mom and Dad got me before I was born thinking, "Maybe he will play guitar someday!"
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Hmmm... My first concert was a Tommy Emmanuel concert in 2011 that I went to with my Mom. What made it memorable was, I got to play for and meet him... And he signed my guitar!!!!!!
What gear do you use?
Well, I have many guitars. Here are some of them:
Fender American made strat signed by Eric Johnson (played for and met him too!!!!), Fender MIM HSS Floyd Rose, Fender Acoustic (Signed by Tommy Emmanuel), Ibanez Tallman Acoustic Electric, Ibanez Classical Electric Guitar , Les Paul, Custom Built Solid Body Neck through SG , Jasmine Classical, and a Fender Tenor Ukulele
Amps:
Crate, Fender Tube Amp, Line 6 Spider IV, Marshall JCM 2000 , 1960 cab
Pedals:
Line 6 Pod XT Live
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Slash... No doubt about it. I got into him by hearing him on the radio... I was in AWE! So, I learned my favorite song, Sweet Child O' Mine, and did it for my 4th Grade Talent show!
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I mainly love to sit in with local musicians whenever possible. It's such an honor and SO MUCH FUN! I have met several friends that I love to play with from "Camp Jam St. Louis", which I HIGHLY recommend. I play shows when I am invited and play at just about any opportunity I get!
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Well, Slash. This is because I've already played for Tommy and Eric! Slash is FOR SURE NEXT ON THE LIST!!!
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Biggest audience, 10,000. It was at the St. Charles Festival of the Little Hills with the amazing TRIXIE DELIGHT. I will NEVER forget that night. The smallest, probably 4, In my living room for my family! LOL
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
AHHHH that's a hard one, but I'd have to go with Appetite for Destruction.
