Millenia. Saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan when I was 7. Said, "I wanna be a Beatle when I grow up!"
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Beatles, Shea Stadium, 1966, with Mom, Dad, & brother. It's all been downhill from there.
What gear do you use?
The usual guitars, bass, Fluke Uke, midi keys. API, Neumann, Cranesong, PT.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Beatles. Did I mention... Beatles? Dylan, Hendrix, Motown, etc too. I've always liked good songs in all genres.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
The Bucky Burro Band, basically a collection of friends/stellar musicians I've met over the years as a recording engineer/producer in Los Angeles. Strictly a recording entity, not live, although that would be interesting to get everybody together for a jam!
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Hendrix, Mozart, Ray Charles, and Janis Joplin. I'd play finger-snaps.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
None that counted. I'm a studio guy.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
None, but I need my surfboard! My favorite music is all playing constantly in my head anyways. Sometimes all at the same time!
