Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Steelye Span. They have wonderful harmonies. Sometimes very complicated. My mum was really into them so we listened to them all the time harmonizing together.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I used to sing along with a Queen cover band, but ultimately they needed a male lead singer :)
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Josh Groban. He is so talented and respectful of musical compositions. I think I could learn alot from him.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
In 1996 I played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the Fremantle Town Hall in Western Australia. It was a few hundred people and very exciting. We did three shows a day in 40C degree heat.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Runrig Live At Celtic Connections 2000. I love celtic music. Runrig are amazing live. You can't help but sing along to everything. Its music that gets into your blood. You feel it.
