How long have you been playing?
Since 1981 with a 10 year break in between. At age 7 I wanted to learn the guitar. I wasn't allowed. At age 8 I tried to build a guitar by myself. I took an old chair, some screws and paint and some fishing line and got creative - lol - didn't really work, but it made some squeaky noise - it had 7 or 8 strings Flying V shape, that was 1978, hey I was ahead of time with my 7 or 8 strings - lol, ha, ha. Later I bought my first real acoustic guitar for $10 at a pawn shop at age 11 and from that day on I played (never one lesson btw) ... At age 15 I had the money together and bought myself a electric one (a Gibson copy by Samick) for about $120 that I played over an old tape deck. First band at age 16 same time I left home and lived in my bands rehearsal room. Studied stonemason and sculptor and finished my training at age 21. During that time I played in different bands and a lot of projects, had my first studio- and session-jobs and all the crazy stuff that goes along with that. 1988 I started to write my own stuff beside my bands. In 1992 I had a really bad car accident and nearly lost my right arm. Open fracture and the nerves were cut. No one could say if I would ever get my arm back. As you can see I'm still here - means it came back after one year and lots of training and I was fine after two years! Then played gigs with Family Affair and P-Funk(my own project band) + other projects and had my last gig before a 10 year break in 1996. The reason was that at age 26 I studied media-design and jumped into advertising and made it pretty fast pretty far, got a bit high on that, lost my music, didn't play for nearly 10 years and no concert for nearly 15 years. In 2005 I changed my way and especially my values and in 2006 I finally found back to myself, my music etc. Digitalized my old 300 tapes and started to rewrite things and also started writing new stuff. It's really strange if you restring your guitar after 10 years. Played some live club sessions here and there. In 2007/2008 I thought hey lets put it on-line it can't hurt and jumped on youtube and myspace and found my lovely "Everything" co-songwriter Toni in California. So I'm back to my music, found unconditional love and my truth - working international as a freelance graphic and web designer, photographer, creative and art director for my food.
All what is missing is a chance to move my business to California as that 6000 miles distance between me and Toni (half of the year when I'm not in Cali) is really hurtful.
The last 4 years I focused on my bass-playing and today I see myself more as a bassist.
I LOVE BASS!!!

What was the first concert you ever went to?
Local bands I guess. Then later Mothers Finest was one of the first and greatest bands I saw live. The first really big concert I went to I was 17, so it was 1987 and it was Queen (Magic Tour - still have the ticket) 70.000 people in Cologne Stadium and a show and performance from out of space. Memorable was and still is that I was so nervous to see them that I left my glasses in the car - sorry Freddie, couldn't really see ya, but hear ya, man I love you!

What are you looking for from Fandalism?
Great musicians and artist that are just cool. Actual I try to find more musicians in Los Angeles as I would really love to play live-sessions or jam-sessions etc. when I'm there.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Growing up my influences were exactly the following process:
Elvis -> AC/DC -> Stevie Ray Vaughn - > Prince -> Queen
Elvis -> AC/DC -> Stevie Ray Vaughn - > Prince -> Queen
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
No band or project at the moment. Focus is writing. Former bands were: Family Affair, P-Funk, Purple Haze, Conrad Solo, various band live projects, studio jobs etc.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
As guitarist or bassist to jam and get my butt kicked big time to play it a zillion times better when I though I was already doing okay definitely Prince would be my No 1 choice. As bassist to make some real music definitely Richie Kotzen.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
3000 and 1
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
