Been singing probably since i could talk but started to train classically at 15..i will show you guys my classical voice one day! :D Playing guitar on and off since 17 and piano on and off since i was 5 but have to express that i never took very well to either and just simply play what i can to accompany my singing and song writing lol! I have had very serious problems with mental health for most of my life and my music suffered significantly because of this,I also have M.E. and fibromyalgia,both of which affect my singing negatively but i push on as singing is my soul,my therapy..i would wither and die if i could not sing everyday,even on my sickest days i have a hard time not singing! After years of therapy and treatment for mental ilness i finally plucked up the courage to audition for a band and just threw myself in at the deep end! I was so surprised that i was well received and people wanted to hear more but the battle with my mind continues and the illness wins too often but i continue to fight! Please listen to my song about Body Dysmorphic Disorder that expresses a small amount of my story..If there was such a thing i think i would be diagnosed with Voice Dysmorphic Disorder..yes singing is my soul but i convinced myself that my voice is hideous and thats how i hear it but as you can tell,simply by the fact I put myself on Fandalism, that's another fight with the mind that i am winning!! :D
