Play a ruby red flame top Carvin LB75 five string bass for my 5. Four string is a custom built (by me as a luthier 30 yrs ago), Koa body, J-bass style, with 2 EMG active J-bass pickups with onboard EQ.
DR Sunbeams on the 5 & DR Legend flat-wounds on the 4.
Latest addition, Kala U-Bass 4 string. Upright bass like tone without the schlep.
Main bass rig is TC electronics RH450, with 2 each 2x10 cabinets using basslite neo 10"speakers.
Small club rig is Phil Jones Breifcase. It's even got a battery for nice bass tone in the woods!
