How long have you been playing?
Jeff Has always wanted to be a drummer, his father couldn't afford a kit, so He gave him his coronet and Jeff blew horn in school. After getting married at 25 Jeff and his lovely wife bought his first kit. So he has been at it behind an actual kit for 32 years with several sabbaticals in the middle. Originally from Southern California, Jeff joined the group Jara in the 70's as their drummer. After about a 4 to 5 year jaunt, left the group to move to Oklahoma where he played with several country bands not to mention hookin up and getting to play with some of Bob Well's (The King of Country Swings) survivors from the day. During this period of country music schooling, Jeff had an opportunity to drum for whom some believed to have been the original Cherokee Fiddler 'Herb Meeks' A song made famous by Johnny Lee. For the next couple of years Herb mentored Jeff in the fine art of southern fried music. Jeff has taken what he has gleened from Tris Imboden i.e. Latin, Rock and Jazz, not to mention Terry Bozzio, Neil Pert, etc. along with his own creativity in hopes of giving the listener something they want to listen to rather than have to. About 20 years ago, life as he knew it changed when he received Jesus as his Saviour. He was later accepted to and graduated from Bible College in 1996, with a degree in Youth Ministry. Shortly after graduating college Jeff hosted the largest city wide Youth Ralley just east of Tulsa, where there were over three hundred young people in attendance. He had the opportunity to play with and attend several music seminars throughout the Midwest sitting under some of the country's best Praise and Worship leaders, such as Kent Henry, David Grothe, Danny Chambers, and Bob Scorge. He is also one of the voices in concert of a thousand voice choir held at the Mabee Center in Tulsa Oklahoma. He has vocally backed Christian Artist like Sharon Daugherty, Steve Brock, and Alvin Slaughter. He would like to thank his brother David, for coming along and getting on board to help him complete his latest project (Jesus I've Fallen In Love With You). God has blessed Jeff's family with the gift of music and David certainly shows up on the scene to lay down those gifts. Instruments played by David on this recording are the Electric Piano, strings, synths, bass guitar, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and background vocals. To his sister Bobbiejo, who for the time allowed Jeff to turn her home into a recording studio. She is the producer of this project and without her finances, and going without this might not have been possible. Jeff continues to push forward in his quest for that seat, pulling from those that he can and giving to others as needed.

I wrote this song during a time when I had just come through several situations in my own life. The realization that I was never alone during these times is amazing to look back on. My heart is that who ever listens to these words, will come to know that no matter how dark it may appear, His light will come shinning through.
