Here's my cover of "Que nadie sepa mi sufrir", a Peruvian waltz composed by Ángel Cabral from Argentina, original lyrics by Enrique Dizeo (1936). The Peruvian waltz was a very popular genre in Latin America in the 1930s-1950s. This song was recorded by numerous artists such as Helenita Vargas, Julio Jaramillo, María Dolores Pradera, Julio Iglesias, Raphael, Soledad Pastorutti, Florent Pagny more recently and it was made famous in French under the name of "La Foule" by the great Edith Piaf (1957). I am accompanied by a guitarist friend from Colombia whom I would like to thank warmly for this beautiful instrumental track. Oscar also has a gorgeous voice. Thank you very much for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

I wish to dedicate this George Brassens song (released in 1953, album La Mauvaise Réputation) to that little horse who died of exhaustion before the eyes of his owner who did not lift a finger to save him. I dedicate it to all animals that are exploited, abused or tortured here and elsewhere. Animals are better than men, much better. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

This is my version of the Ave Maria by Franz Schubert. The melody was composed on piano by Charles Gounod who drew his inspiration from Johann Sebastian Bach's « Well-Tempered Clavier » - first prelude, first book. The idea of singing it came to me on August 15th and so I am a bit late for the upload. Thank you for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY .

One of my American friends, recently asked me if I could sing another French song. So I chose for him, and for you, a beautiful song by a singer I liked a whole lot : the great Dalida . The song is called 'Les Gitans' (The Gypsies) and it was featured on her 4th album, also entitled Les Gitans, and released in 1958. Here is my version. Dalida, whose real name was Yolanda Cristina Gigliotti (1933 -1987), was a singer and actress, who sang and performed in close to a dozen languages (Italian, French, Egyptian Arabic, Hebrew, English, Spanish, German, Flemish, Lebanese, Greek and Japanese). She holds the record for most awards won by a French artist. She remains a world icon, ranking 6th on the list of most popular singers in the world with over 170 million records sold worldwide.Thank you all for listening and watching! PS : I used a karaoke backing track. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE. FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT (AND MINE...) ONLY .

Carrying on with my musical experimentations I have quite naturally come to Hip Hop. And so here is my er... 'Hitch Hop by The Curious Single' ... version of the song 'The Message', a song by Grand Master & The Furious Five (released in 1982). Joseph Saddler (born in 1958 in Bridgetown, Barbados), better known as Grandmaster Flash, is an American hip hop recording artist and DJ. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of hip-hop DJing, cutting, and mixing. He was known for scratching with his feet and toes ( scratching is a DJ and turntablist technique) . Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007, becoming the first hip hop act to be so honored. Thank you, Grand Master, please do not be cross with me. I hope you will like my feet... Merci :)

I heard this song for the first time when I was on a bus taking a sightseeing tour of New York last week and I thought it would be very nice if I could cover it. So here is my version of it. I illustrated the videos with photos I took during my stay. "New York State of Mind" is a song written by Billy Joel which initially appeared on the album Turnstiles in 1976.  William Martin "Billy" Joel (born May 9, 1949) is an American pianist, singer-songwriter, and composer. Since releasing his first hit song, "Piano Man", in 1973, Joel has become the sixth best-selling recording artist and the third best-selling solo artist in the United States.  He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame (1992), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1999), and the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (2006). NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT (AND MINE …) ONLY LYRICS : Some folks like to get away, Take a holiday from the neighborhood. Hop a flight to Miami Beach or to Hollywood. But I'm takin' a Greyhound on the Hudson River line. I'm in a New York state of mind. I've seen all the movie stars in their fancy cars and their limousines. Been high in the Rockies under the evergreens. I know what I'm needin', and I don't want to waste more time. I'm in a New York state of mind. It was so easy livin' day by day Out of touch with the rhythm and blues But now I need a little give and take The New York Times, the Daily News. It comes down to reality, and it's fine with me cause I've let it slide. I don't care if it's Chinatown or on Riverside. I don't have any reasons, I left them all behind. I'm in a New York state of mind. INSTRUMENTAL It was so easy living day by day Out of touch with the rhythm and blues But now I need a little give and take The New York Times, the Daily News. And so here is my female version of "Corazón, Corazón", released in 1976 (album "Corazón, Corazón"). Thank you, Claude, for this beautiful musical arrangement. Julio José Iglesias de la Cueva, better known as Julio Iglesias, born in Madrid on September 23rd, 1943 is a Spanish singer. You will find here my cover of 'It's a Man's Man's Man's World', a song by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome ( 1966). Brown's co-writer and one-time girlfriend, Betty Jean Newsome, wrote the lyrics based on her own observations of the relations between the sexes. My version complies with ISA2015 standards... James Joseph Brown Jr. (1933-2006) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, dancer and producer. One of the founding fathers of funk music and a major figure of 20th-century popular music and dance, he is often referred to as "The Godfather of Soul". He remains one of the greatest black artists in the world. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE. FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT (AND MINE...) ONLY LYRICS : This is a man's world, this is a man's world But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl You see, man made the cars to take us over the road Man made the train to carry the heavy load Man made the electric light to take us out of the dark Man made the boat for the water, like Noah made the ark This is a man's, man's, man's world But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl Man thinks about a little bit of baby girls and of baby boys Man make them happy 'cause man make them toys And after man make everything, everything he can Do you know that man makes money to buy from other man? This is a man's world But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing, not one little thing, without a woman or a girl He's lost in the wilderness He's lost in bitterness He's lost, lost somewhere in this, in loneliness

Here is my version of "L'Encre De Tes Yeux » (= the inkwell of your eyes)," a song which I consider to be one of the most beautiful and most interesting songs ever written and composed by a French artist. This artist, whom I like a lot, is called Francis Cabrel. The song, released in 1980 on his album entitled Fragile, is about an impossible love between two human beings whose gender, age or religion are unknown to us ; it also alludes to the weight of conventions on the individual and to the difficulty we all face in making sure our links do not turn into chains, whatever the links may be. I chose the mask as a symbol because a mask is also a chain that can distort, and even hamper, our relationship with ourselves and with others.THANK YOU very much, Marc, for this new collaboration. Thank you all for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

This is my cover of "Call It Stormy Monday (But Tuesday Is Just as Bad)" (commonly referred to as "Stormy Monday"), a song written and recorded by American blues electric guitar pioneer T-Bone Walker. "Stormy Monday" is one of the most popular blues standards, with numerous renditions. As well as being necessary for blues musicians, it is also found in the repertoires of many jazz, soul, pop, and rock performers. The song is included in the Grammy, Rock and Roll, and Blues Foundation halls of fame. Thanks a lot for listening to this version. EXPLANATION of the expression 'The eagle flies on Friday' (from : http://www.answers.com/Q/What_does_the_eagle_flies_on_Friday_mean) « Roman soldiers earned 1 denarius a day for their service to Caesar. The denarius was a coin worth about 10 head of livestock and had the head of the current Caesar on one side (heads) and an emblem on the reverse (tails). Several of the different Caesars like Octavian, Augustus, Vespasian, Aurelianus chose to use the eagle as their emblem. On payday, when all the soldiers received their earnings, they spent the money like a lottery windfall, like any good soldier would. Hence the common phrase "The Eagle flies on Friday"  » NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

Here is my version of "Ma liberté" (= My Freedom), a song by Georges Moustaki created for Serge Reggiani. It has been covered by many artists, including Chimene Badi in 2012. Georges Moustaki, born Giuseppe Mustacchi (1934-2013), was a French singer-songwriter of Italo-Greek origin. He wrote for the big names of the French chanson, such as Yves Montand, Barbara, Edith Piaf and Serge Reggiani. He was also a painter. Serge Reggiani, born Sergio Reggiani (1922- 2004) was a French actor and singer of Italian origin. He started singing at a late age (46) and he is considered one of the finest interpreters of French chansons. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

This is my cover of "Desafinado", ("Out of Tune", "Off Key"), a bossa nova song composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim in 1959 with lyrics in Portuguese by Newton Mendonça. The English language lyrics were written by Jon Hendricks and "Jessie Cavanaugh" (a pseudonym used by The Richmond Organisation). This song has been performed by several artists, such as João Gilberto (1959), Herb Alpert (1962), the trio composed of João Gilberto, Stan Getz and Antônio Carlos Jobim (1963), Julie London  (1963), Frank Sinatra (1965), Ella Fitzgerald (1981), George Michael and Astrud Gilberto (1998) and more recently  Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan (2005). It was translated into French by songwriter Eddy Marnay who gave the song a different title : Faits pour s’aimer. It was recorded by Nicole Martin in 2012 and is featured on her album Cocktail Lounge. The song was voted by the Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone as the 14th greatest Brazilian song. I hope you will enjoy this version. Thank you for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : Love is like a never ending melody, Poets have compared it to a symphony, A symphony conducted by the lighting of the moon, But our song of love is slightly out of tune! Once your kisses raised me to a fever pitch, Now the orchestration doesn't seem so rich! Seems to me you've changed the tune we used to sing; Like the bossa nova, love should swing! We used to harmonise, two souls in perfect time, Now the song is different and the words don't even rhyme! 'Cause you forgot the melody, our hearts would always croon, And so what good's a heart that's slightly out of tune? Tune your heart to mine the way it used to be, Join with me in harmony and sing a song of loving. We're bound to get in tune again before too long; There'll be no desafinado when your heart belongs to me completely, So you won't be slightly out of tune, you'll sing along with me! There'll be no desafinado when your heart belongs to me completely, Then you won't be slightly out of tune, you'll sing along with me! Sing along with me, Sing along with me!

I visited my friend Jean-Michel Bartnicki's website the other day (http://www.jeanmichelbartnicki.org/) and my attention was caught by the power of the words in one of his texts, which was then called "André". As we had met at the Book Fair in Paris last month to discuss potential musical projects, I said to Jean-Michel that I would like to sing this text with some changes ; I submitted them to him and he kindly accepted them. This is a text about homelessness and alcoholism, but I would say that it is primarily a text about desperation. A beautiful text. The music was composed by Paul Mahoni and I like it very much too. Alcoholism is not a vice or a fatality, but a type of dependence and therefore it requires therapeutic care. I would like to underline that I do not need to be directly affected by a subject to be able to sing about it ; this is due to my level of sensitivity and empathy. I hope you will enjoy our work on this song. Thank you for listening. Encore Encore... This is my cover of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", a 1933 hit song by Al Dubin (lyrics) and Harry Warren (music), set in Paris. The narrator says "I walk along the Street of Sorrow/The Boulevard of Broken Dreams/Where Gigolo and Gigolette/Can take a kiss without regret/So they forget their broken dreams." The song was sung by Constance Bennett in the film Moulin Rouge (1934). Many artists have covered it, such as Nat King Cole, Frances Langford, Marianne Faithful and Diana Krall. Moulin Rouge is an Australian-American musical film directed by Baz Luhrmann and released in 2001. Inspired in part by the novel La Dame aux camélias (The Lady of the Camellias) by Alexandre Dumas, fils (the son of Alexandre Dumas who was also a writer and playwright) the film tells the story of a courtesan called Satine (played by Nicole Kidman ), and a poet, Christian (Ewan McGregor) who fall in love with each other. Thank you very much, Nick, for this very beautiful instrumental version. Thank you all for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : I walk along the street of sorrow The boulevard of broken dreams Where gigolo and gigolette Can take a kiss without regret So they forget their broken dreams You laugh tonight and cry tomorrow When you behold your shattered schemes And gigolo and gigolette Wake up to find their eyes are wet With tears that tell of broken dreams Here is where you'll always find me Always walking up and down But I left my soul behind me In an old cathedral town The joy that you find here, you borrow You cannot keep it long it seems But gigolo and gigolette Still sing a song and dance along The boulevard of broken dreams INSTRUMENTAL The joy that you find here, you borrow You cannot keep it long it seems But gigolo and gigolette Still sing a song and dance along The boulevard of broken dreams

This is my cover of « Warm and Tender Love », a song performed by Percy Sledge in 1966 and written by Berger, Irral / Robinson et Bobby . Percy Tyrone Sledge (1940 – 2015) was an African American R&B, soul, gospel, and traditional pop singer. He is best known for the song "When a Man Loves a Woman", a No. 1 hit on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B singles charts in 1966. It was awarded a million-selling, Gold-certified disc from the RIAA. In later years, Percy received the Rhythm and Blues Foundation's Career Achievement Award. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. This video is a tribute to this very touching singer who passed away recently. I used a karaoké backing track. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. My Polish friend, Janucik, asked me the other da... read morey if I would like to sing a song called « Charade ». I listened to it and I said YES. A very pretty song again. Here is our version of it. "Charade" is a sad, lonely Parisian waltz composed by Henry Mancini with lyrics by Johnny Mercer performed in the 1963 film of the same name starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. It was nominated that year for the Academy Award for Best Original Song. It was also covered by Andy Williams in 1964. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : When we played our charade We were like children posing Playing at games, acting out names Guessing the parts we played Oh, what a hit we made We came on next to closing Best on the bill, lovers until Love left the masquerade Fate seemed to pull the strings I turned and you were gone While from the darkened wings The music box played on Sad little serenade Song of my heart's composing I hear it still, I always will Best on the bill, charade TRADUCTION : Lorsque nous avons joué notre charade Nous étions comme des enfants posant, Jouant à des jeux, mimant des noms, Devinant les rôles que nous jouions Oh, quel succès a été le nôtre Notre histoire a commencé au moment où le spectacle se finissait Nous étions tout en haut de l'affiche, amants nous fûmes Jusqu'au jour où l'amour a déserté la mascarade Le destin semblait tirer les ficelles Je me suis retournée et tu étais parti Alors que dans la pénombre des coulisses La boîte à musique continuait à jouer Petite sérénade triste Chanson composée par mon cœur Je l'entends encore, je l'entendrai toujours Tout en haut de l'affiche, mascarade

LYRICS (my version) : We've been through the storm We've been through it all We had some close calls But never would fall We climbed all the mountains Walked through all the valleys And you never left me behind I found my way through the clouds No more runnin' scared and closing my eyes, oh I will be true, this love from my heart I'm laying my life on the line Oh, I will survive As long as it's you by my side I will survive As long as it's you by my side I'm stronger, stronger, stronger I'm stronger, stronger, stronger They said we wouldn't make it But guess what, we made it And we got them wondering how You were always for me Never been the one to hurt me You gave me peace of mind I found my way through the clouds No more runnin' scared and closing my eyes, oh I will be true, this love from my heart I'm laying my life on the line Oh, I will survive As long as it's you by my side I will survive As long as it's you by my side I'm stronger, stronger, stronger I'm stronger, stronger, stronger Sometimes I can't believe That you are with me There's nobody lucky as me So I get on my knees To make sure that you Know that I'm grateful For what you gave me Ohhohh Ohhhh Ohhh I will survive I will survive As long as it's you by my side I will survive I will survive I'm stronger, stronger, stronger I'm stronger, stronger, stronger I will survive TRADUCTION (ma version): Nous avons bravé la tempête Nous avons affronté tant de choses Nous l'avons parfois échappé belle Mais nous sommes toujours restés debout Nous avons escaladé toutes les montagnes Traversé toutes les vallées Mais tu ne m'as jamais laissé tomber J'ai trouvé mon chemin à travers les nuages Je ne m'enfuis plus la peur au ventre, je ne ferme plus les yeux, Je resterai sincère Cet amour vient de mon cœur Je mets ma vie en jeu Je survivrai tant que tu resteras à mes côtés Je survivrai tant que tu resteras à mes côtés Je suis plus forte, plus forte, plus forte Je suis plus forte, plus forte, plus forte Ils disaient que l'on n'y arriverait pas Mais devine quoi ? On a réussi !

For this Easter weekend, I would like to offer you my cover of Qu'est-ce qu'on attend pour être heureux ? (Why not start to be happy now), a song composed in 1937 by Paul Misraki with lyrics by Andre Hornez. It was made famous by Ray Ventura et ses Collégiens ( The Collegiate Five). Ray Ventura was a French jazz bandleader who played a significant role in popularizing jazz in France in the 1930s. This song was covered in a gypsy jazzy version by Patrick Bruel in 2002 in his album entitled « Entre Deux ». Although it was first recorded in 1938, this song remains emblematic of the Front Populaire (the Popular Front : an alliance of left-wing movements during the interwar period) and to the creation of the right to paid leave for workers (1936). I used a karaoke backing track. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.

La Vie d'Artiste is a song by Léo Ferré (lyrics by Léo Ferré and his friend Francis Claude, a radio personality and the artistic director of various "left bank" cabarets in Paris). This song which is about the breakup of a love relationship is featured in Léo Ferré's second album entitled Chansons de Léo Ferré (1954). It is regarded as one of his classics. I asked Jean-Louis Sambiasi, my Corsican friend, if he could recreate an instrumental track in the same spirit for me so that I could recite this wonderful text. Thank you very much, Jean-Louis, for accepting :) NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

Here is my cover of "Everyday", a song written by Buddy Holly and Norman Petty, recorded by Buddy Holly and the Crickets on May 29, 1957 and released on September 20, 1957 as the B-side to "Peggy Sue". Charles Hardin Holley (1936-1959), known as Buddy Holly, was an American musician and singer-songwriter and a pioneer of rock and roll. Although his success lasted only a year and a half before his death in an airplane crash, Holly is described by critic Bruce Eder as "the single most influential creative force in early rock and roll. This is my cover of « La Tendresse » (Tenderness), a very pretty song created by Marie Laforêt in 1963 and covered by Bourvil that same year. I used a karaoke backing track. Thank you for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

I would like to dedicate this song tomy dad who passed away, but whose birthday is today. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : They say that falling in love is wonderful So wonderful, so they say The thing that's known as romance is wonderful So wonderful, so they tell me I can't recall who said it, I know, I never read it I only know they tell me that love is grand and If there's a moon up above It's wonderful, wonderful, in every way, so they say Instrumental You leave your house one morning and without any warning You find yourself shouting that love is grand and To hold a man in your arms is wonderful Wonderful, in every way, so they say

I was deeply moved when Janucik, my Polish friend, recently told me that his beloved son, Maciej, had passed away. I would like to dedicate my cover of the very pretty song "La Paloma" (the dove) to him. This song, composed by Sebastián Iradier in 1863 is mainly characterized by its rhythm, called la habanera ; it is one of the most recorded songs in the world; it has been covered by a very large number of artists, including Julio Iglesias, Los Panchos and Nana Mouskouri. I used Janucik's very pretty version (2012). RIP Maciej. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. Here is my cover of « Domino », a song performed by André Claveau in 1950 (lyrics by Jacques Plante, music by Louis Ferrari). André Claveau (1911- 2003) was a popular singer in France from the 1940s to the 1960s. He won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 singing "Dors, mon amour" (Sleep, My Love) with music composed by Pierre Delanoë and lyrics by Hubert Giraud. Jean-Louis Sambiasi, my Corsican friend, was kind enough to create for me an instrumental track in the same spirit as the 1950 version sung by André Claveau i.e. with strings (violons and violas). THANK YOU very much, Jean-Louis, for this very beautiful accompaniment. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. TRANSLATION : (Chorus) Domino Domino Spring sings in me, Dominique, The sun is shining brightly, My heart is like a music box I need you, I need your hands on me, Your soft, warm body, I want to be loved Domino. Beware, my love, I have forgiven you too often I have spent more nights waiting for you Than by your side I may hurt you now, it is my turn, You have hurt me in the past and you have never cared You enjoy my suffering, and I am exhausting myself loving you. (Chorus) There is a thought that I can't bear It is seing someone taking my place in your arms, I can endure many things, but this is more than I can handle And should any woman steal you away from me She might as well start counting her days and yours too I watch all those around you, oh beware, my darling. Domino Domino I shouldn't be getting so angry, With you, Domino, I know too well that nothing can be done, You have a light heart, You cannot change that, But I love you, what can I do? I cannot change that either Domino, Domino, I always forgive you, so come back, Domino, Domino, And I will no longer say anything

Here is my cover of "J'Attendrai", a song performed by Rina Ketty in 1938 (the French lyrics by Louis Poterat were inspired by an Italian song « Tornerai » written by Nino Rastelli, music by Dino Olivieri. « Tornerai » was based on the "Humming Chorus" in Puccini's opera Madam Butterfly. Rina Ketty (1911-1996), whose real name was Cesarina Picchetto, was a French singer of Italian descent. My Californian friend, Marc Roberge, created the instrumental track for me. Thank you very much, Marc :) NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. PAROLES : (Refrain) J'attendrai Le jour et la nuit, j'attendrai toujours Ton retour J'attendrai Car l'oiseau qui s'enfuit vient chercher l'oubli Dans son nid Le temps passe et court En battant tristement Dans mon cœur si lourd Et pourtant, j'attendrai Ton retour Les fleurs pâlissent Le feu s'éteint L'ombre se glisse Dans le jardin L'horloge tisse Des sons très las Je crois entendre ton pas Le vent m'apporte Des bruits lointains Guettant ma porte J'écoute en vain Hélas, plus rien, Plus rien ne vient (Refrain)

Here is my version of "Un Gamin de Paris", a 1951 song (lyrics by Mick Micheyl, music by Adrian Mar... read morees). It has been sung by many artists, including Mick Micheyl, Yves Montand, Francis Lemarque and Patachou. Francisque Poulbot (1879- 1946) was a French poster designer, draftsman and illustrator, he was famous for his drawings representing kids of Montmartre (the « poulbots »). You will also recognize in the video many drawings by Michel Thomas, a famous Parisian draftsman who followed in the footsteps of Francisque Poulbot and Germaine Bouret; he drew Parisian « titis » (kids) and illustrated hundreds of postcards from the late 60's onwards. I used the pretty version played on the accordion by my Czech friend Miroslav Jiravský https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OQZnywhIlQ NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

I wished to pay tribute to Demis Roussos who passed away recently. And so you have here my cover of "Auf Wiedersehen", the German version of "Goodbye my love, goodbye" (1973) and the A side of his single released in 1974. Demis Roussos, whose real name was Artémios Ventoúris Roússos, was a Greek musician and singer ; he was born on June 15, 1946 in Alexandria, Egypt, and died on January 25, 2015 in Athens. Before his solo career, he was the lead singer and bassist of the band Aphrodite's Child. This is my personal perception as an artist of the man and artist he was. Thank you, Mr Roussos. RIP. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

This is my cover of « How High The Moon », a jazz standard with lyrics by Nancy Hamilton and music by Morgan Lewis. It was first featured in the 1940 Broadway revue Two for the Show, where it was sung by Alfred Drake and Frances Comstock. The song has become a gypsy jazz standard and has been recorded by several singers (eg . Ella Fitzgerald) and musicians of the genre. I think my version turned out as a jazzy pow-wow … I used a karaoke backing track. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : Somewhere there's music How faint the tune Somewhere there's heaven How high the moon There is no moon above When love is far away too Till it comes true That you love me as I love you Somewhere there's music It's where you are Somewhere there's heaven How near, how far The darkest night would shine If you would come to me soon Until you will, how still my heart How high the moon How high the moon Is the name of this song How high the moon Though the words may be wrong We're singin' it because you ask for it So we're swingin' it just for you How high the moon Does it touch the stars How high the moon Does it reach out to Mars Though the words may be wrong to this song We're askin' how high high high high high is the moon ONOMATOPOEIA Though the words may be wrong to this song We hope to make high high high high as the moon

Voici ma reprise du « Petit Bal Perdu » (aussi appelée « C 'Etait Bien »), chanson écrite pour Bourvil par Gaby Verlor en 1961. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. Here is my cover of « Le Petit Bal Perdu » (or « C'Etait Bien »), a song written for Bourvil by Gaby Verlor in 1961. PAROLES : C´était tout juste après la guerre, Dans un petit bal qu´avait souffert. Sur une piste de misère, Y´en avait deux, à découvert. Parmi les gravats ils dansaient Dans ce petit bal qui s´appelait... Qui s´appelait...  qui s´appelait...  qui s´appelait... {Refrain:} Non je ne me souviens plus  du nom du bal perdu. Ce dont je me souviens  ce sont ces amoureux Qui ne regardaient rien autour d´eux. Y´avait tant d´insouciance Dans leurs gestes émus, Alors quelle importance Le nom du bal perdu? Non je ne me souviens plus  du nom du bal perdu. Ce dont je me souviens  c´est qu´ils étaient heureux Les yeux au fond des yeux. Et c´était bien...  Et c´était bien... Ils buvaient dans le même verre, Toujours sans se quitter des yeux. Ils faisaient la même prière, D´être toujours, toujours heureux. Parmi les gravats ils souriaient Dans ce petit bal qui s´appelait... Qui s´appelait...  qui s´appelait...  qui s´appelait... {Refrain:} Et puis quand l´accordéoniste S´est arrêté, ils sont partis. Le soir tombait dessus la piste, Sur les gravats et sur ma vie. Il était redevenu tout triste Ce petit bal qui s´appelait, Qui s´appelait...  qui s´appelait...  qui s´appelait... {Refrain:}

In light of the tragic events that took place in Paris on January 7th, 2015, I decided to cover this song and sing it a cappella ; it was first sung by the « Compagnons de la Chanson » in 1957. « Si Tous Les Gars du Monde » is also a French film directed by Christian-Jaque and released in 1956. Thank you. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

Here is my cover of "Bal Chez Temporel" (Dancing at Temporel's), a song composed by Guy Béart, partly inspired by a poem by André Hardellet (1911-1974) entitled Le Tremblay. Guy Béart, whose real name is Béhart-Hasson (originally spelled Béhar-Hassan), was born in Cairo (Egypt) on July 16th, 1930 ; he is a French singer-songwriter. « Bal Chez Temporel » was covered by Patachou and Cora Vaucaire.I am accompanied by my friend Claude Laxalde, a French accordionist. Thank you for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

Here is my cover of "Seule Ce Soir" (I am alone tonight), a song by Léo Marjane (1941), lyrics by Rose Noël and Jean Casanova, music by Paul Durand. My American friend Marc Roberge created this very pretty instrumenal track for me. Thanks, Marc :) Thsi song was a big hit during the German occupation of France because many French women whose husbands were held prisoner in Germany identified at the time with the « lonely woman ». Therese Marie Leonie Gendebien, also called Léo Marjane, born August 27, 1912 in Boulogne-sur-Mer (Pas-de-Calais), is a French singer. She is now 102 years old. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. (Refrain)

The song was introduced in the 1965 film The Sandpiper ; it later became a minor hit for Tony Bennett and won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year and the Academy Award for Best Original Song.  Well-known versions of the song were recorded by Barbra Streisand ,Shirley Bassey, Andy Williams, Percy Faith, Ella Fitzgerald, Astrud Gilberto, Peggy Lee, Sammy Davis, Jr., Sarah Vaugha, Frank Sinatra etc. I hope you will enjoy my version. I used a karaoke backing track. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : The shadow of your smile when you are gone  Will color all my dreams and light the dawn  Look into my eyes my love and see  All the lovely things you are to me.  Our wistful little star was far too high  A teardrop kissed your lips and so did I  Now when I remember spring  And all the joy that love can bring  I will be remembering the shadow of your smile.

Here is my cover of "Parler à Mon Père » (Talking to my Father), a song by Céline Dion released on July 2nd, 2012 in digital format. It is the first single from the studio album Sans Attendre ; the song was written and composed by Jacques Veneruso. My Corsican friend, Jean-Louis Sambiasi (http://fandalism.com/jlric), created for me this beautiful music arrangement. I hope you will enjoy this new collaboration. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.

Claude Laxalde, my accordeonist friend (https://www.youtube.com/user/clolayet310), suggested that I cover « Il Suffirait De Presque Rien », a song performed by Serge Reggiani in 1968, lyrics by Jean-Max Rivière, music by Gerard Bourgeois. I listened to this beautiful song that I had been familiar with for a long time and I thought that Claude's idea was excellent. I hope you will enjoy our work on this song and my female version of it... NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. Here is my cover of « Blowin 'in the Wind », a song written in April 1962 by Bob Dylan (album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan). A symbol of protest songs, its human and poetic significance made it the anthem of a generation ; it also helped Dylan to establish himself (Dylan was only 20 years old at that time) as a spokesman and as a spiritual leader of the civil rights movement. I used a karaoke backing track. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : How many roads must a man walk down Before you call him a man? How many seas must a white dove sail Before she sleeps in the sand? How many times must the cannon balls fly Before they're forever banned? The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many times must a man look up Before he can see the sky? How many ears must one man have Before he can hear people cry? How many deaths will it take till he knows That too many people have died? The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many years can a mountain exist Before it's washed to the sea? How many years can some people exist Before they're allowed to be free? How many times can a man turn his head Pretending he just doesn't see? The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Here is my cover of « Où sont tous mes amants ? » ("Where are all my lovers?), a song by Charlys and Maurice Vandair, performed by French singer Frehel in 1935. Fréhel (1891-1951), whose real name was Marguerite Boulc'h, was born in Paris; she left her mark on the interwar period. The song is a meditation on lost youth. I am accompanied on accordion by my friend Claude Laxalde (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOCzQA93JTo). NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. PAROLES : {Refrain:}  Où sont tous mes amants  Tous ceux qui m'aimaient tant  Jadis quand j'étais belle ?  Adieu les infidèles  Ils sont je ne sais où  A d'autres rendez-vous  Moi mon cœur n'a pas vieilli pourtant  Où sont tous mes amants,  Dans la tristesse et la nuit qui revient  Je reste seule, isolée sans soutien  Sans nulle entrave, mais sans amour  Comme une épave mon cœur est lourd  Moi qui jadis ai connu le bonheur  Les soirs de fête et les adorateurs  Je suis esclave des souvenirs  Et cela me fait souffrir.  {Refrain}  La nuit s'achève et quand vient le matin  La rosée pleure avec tous mes chagrins  Tous ceux que j'aime  Qui m'ont aimée  Dans le jour blême  Sont effacés  Je vois passer du brouillard sur mes yeux  Tous ces pantins que je vois, ce sont eux  Luttant quand même, suprême effort,  Je crois les étreindre encore.  {Refrain}

Here is my cover of the song "Ultreïa", the song sung by the pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela (in Galicia in northwestern Spain ). The song was written and composed by Jean-Claude Bénazet. Claude Laxalde plays here the accordion (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y50RqNm-vIU&list=UU0hXvuQOk6lqumahu16i8zw). Ultreïa (from the Latin expression ultra (= beyond) and eia ( an interjection referring to a motion) was an expression of joy in the Middle Ages, mainly related to the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela; it means: to go farther, higher. And so the song is about surpassing oneself, going beyond one's limits. The Way of St. James was one of the most important Christian pilgrimages during the Middle Ages, together with Rome and Jerusalem I would like to thank André Bonnefoy from whom I borrowed a few scenes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlBauWwes0M&list=UUDO_P2mW6eCC8yRbwTzw65w). Many thanks to Jean-Claude, Claude and André for their agreement. TRANSLATION : Every morning we take the path Every morning we go farther Day after day, the road calls us It is the voice of Compostela. Ultreïa ! Ultreïa ! E sus eia Deus adjuva nos ! Path of dirt and path of faith Europe's Millennium Way Charlemagne's Milky Way This is the way of all pilgrims Ultreïa ! Ultreïa ! E sus eia Deus adjuva nos ! And there at the end of the continent Sir James awaits us Forever watching with a smile The sun setting in Brittany. Ultreïa ! Ultreïa ! E sus eia Deus adjuva nos !

One of my guitarist friends asked me a few days ago if I would be interested in covering "Songbird", a song by rock band Fleetwood Mac which was featured on their album Rumours in 1977 and written by Christine McVie. I found this song very pretty and I really enjoyed Mark's instrumental version too. I decided to ask my friend Patrice to join us. I hope you will enjoy this new collaboration. Christine McVie is a British songwriter and performer, she is also a keyboardist and she was a member of Fleetwood Mc from 1970 to 1998. She joined the group again very recently in 2014. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : For you, there'll be no more crying For you, the sun will be shining Because I feel that when I'm with you, It's alright, I know it's right. To you, I'll give the world To you, I'll never be cold Because I feel that when I'm with you, It's alright, I know it's right And the songbirds are singing, like they know the score And I love you, I love you, I love you, like never before And I wish you all the love in the world. Oh, but most of all, I wish it from myself. And the songbirds keep singing, like they knew the score And I love you, I love you, I love you Like never before, like never before, like never before.

I was contacted three days ago by a young man on Facebook who asked me if I would be interested in singing a very recent song he had remixed. He sent me the link, I listened to this song which I had never heard before and I liked it right away. So I accepted. And so here is the fruit of this new collaboration with this young Moroccan man (https://soundcloud.com/ahmed-nakrati). I hope that you will enjoy our work on this song. "A Sky Full of Stars" is a song recorded by British alternative rock band Coldplay, released on 2 May 2014 as the 2nd single from their 6th studio album, Ghost Stories (2014). The band co-wrote and co-produced the song with Swedish DJ/producer Avicii. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS: 'Cause you're a sky, cause you're a sky full of stars I'm gonna give you my heart 'Cause you're a sky, cause you're a sky full of stars 'Cause you light up the path I don't care, go on and tear me apart I don't care if you do 'Cause in a sky, cause in a sky full of stars I think I saw you 'Cause you're a sky, cause you're a sky full of stars I want to die in your arms, arms 'Cause you get lighter the more it gets dark I'm gonna give you my heart And I don't care, go on and tear me apart And I don't care if you do 'Cause in a sky, cause in a sky full of stars I think I see you I think I see you Because you're a sky, you're a sky full of stars Such a heavenly view You're such a heavenly view

Dear Friends Here's a new instrumental attempt with my keyboard : in the "Funk" genre. Funk is a form of African-American music which originated in the United States in the late 1950s and developed during the 1960s and 1970s. My friend JC Binetti asked me the other day if I would be interested in singing "Le Pont Mirabeau", a poem by Guillaume Apollinaire. When I heard the beautiful melody composed by JC to illustrate this great poem, I did not hesitate. Guillaume Apollinaire (1880-1918) was a French poet and writer of Polish origin. He is considered one of the most influential French poets of the early 20th century. This poem Le Pont Mirabeau is from his collection entitled Alcools (1913). For a while Apollinaire practiced the art of calligramme, poems written in the form of drawings (you can find two examples at the end of the video). He is considered a major precursor of surrealism, whose name he coined. Apollinaire is one of my favorite poets, along with Baudelaire, Verlaine and Rimbaud. Why the title Alcools (Spirits) ? Because the poet distills his verses into a poetry book just like a wine-grower distills spirits. You can hear JC's version by clicking here : https://soundcloud.com/binetti PAROLES: Le Pont Mirabeau Sous le pont Mirabeau coule la Seine Et nos amours Faut-il qu'il m'en souvienne La joie venait toujours après la peine Vienne la nuit sonne l'heure Les jours s'en vont je demeure Les mains dans les mains restons face à face Tandis que sous Le pont de nos bras passe Des éternels regards l'onde si lasse Vienne la nuit sonne l'heure Les jours s'en vont je demeure L'amour s'en va comme cette eau courante L'amour s'en va Comme la vie est lente Et comme l'Espérance est violente Vienne la nuit sonne l'heure Les jours s'en vont je demeure Passent les jours et passent les semaines Ni temps passé Ni les amours reviennent Sous le pont Mirabeau coule la Seine Vienne la nuit sonne l'heure Les jours s'en vont je demeure "Le Pont Mirabeau" Apollinaire, Alcools (1912)

This is my cover of « N'espère pas » by Suzy Solidor (album N'espère pas 1933-1939). Suzy Solidor (1900-1983) was a French singer, actress and novelist. An emblematic figure of the 1930s, her boyish look helped her popularize among the general public the Parisian gay scene in the "Roaring Twenties" ; some of her songs talked about lesbian love (eg. Ouvre, Obsession, etc.). For your information, I am heterosexual, but my mind and heart are open to differences. Thank you for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

Hi Everyone ! Two friends of mine have told me in the last 6 months that I should buy a keyboard. But since I can’t read music and do everything by ear I really didn’t think I could ever do anything with one. And then a week ago a third person told me the same thing… So I decided to go check out the keyboards at a big music store in Paris. They had a lot of them. I chose one and started playing at the store… I played for almost 45 minutes non stop using a great backing track… I had such a great time; I couldn’t believe it. I was deeply moved by the whole experience. This video is my third attempt (2 at the store on two different days). Thanks for listening. PS : the sound isn’t great because I purchased my keyboard this afternoon and I still haven’t figured out how to record myself with it. So I used my webcam here.

I was looking for a Latin song to sing yesterday morning and I opted for « Moi Je Suis Tango Tango » sung by Guy Marchand in 1975. I thought it would be interesting to come up with the female version of it. The tempo errors aren't errors... This is just my rock n 'roll or wacko wacko version (new genre?) of this tango tango song... ^^ Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Guy Marchand, born Emile Guy Marchand on May 22, 1937 in Paris, is a French actor, singer and musician. As a pianist, saxophonist and clarinetist, he plays jazz, blues and tango. I visited my French friend, Jean-Chris Binetti, on Fandalism a few days ago and I asked him if he would let me cover a song written and composed by him and entitled "Ensemble » (Together); it's a very pretty song. JC was kind enough to say yes; So here is my cover. You can listen to JC's version by clicking here: http://fandalism.com/jcbinetti/dbIg. Thank you for listening.

I wanted to pay homage in my way to a woman artist whose tragic destiny affected me deeply. The idea came to me the day before yesterday. I wanted a musical accompaniment of classical inspiration. So I visited my friend Jean-Louis Sambiasi, a composer, and found on his channel exactly what I wanted (http://fandalism.com/jlric/co5E) to illustrate the story of Camille Claudel, a French sculptor (1864-1943). I hope you will enjoy this video and this new collaboration.

Here's to you The one that always pulls us through Always do what you gotta do You're one of a kind Thank God you're mine. You're an angel dressed in armor You're the fair in every fight You're my life and my safe harbor Where the sun sets every night And if my love is blind I don't want to see the light. It's your beauty that betrays you Your smile gives you away Cause you're made of strength and mercy And my soul is yours to save I know this much is true When my world was dark and blue I know the only one who rescued me was you Close your eyes Let me tell you all the reasons why You're never gonna have to cry Because you're one of a kind Yeah, here's to you The one that always pulls us through You always do what you gotta do, baby, Because you're one of a kind. When your love pours down on me I know I'm finally free So I tell you gratefully Every single beat in my heart is yours to keep So close your eyes Let me tell you all the reasons why, babe, You're never gonna have to cry, baby, Because you're one of a kind Yeah, here's to you You're the one that always pulls us through You always do what you got to do, babe, 'Cause you're one of a kind. Here is my cover of the song "Quelli Erano Giorni", the Italian version of the song "Le Temps des Fleurs" sung by Dalida in 1968. As the instrumental track I used was longer than the original song, I had the idea of adding two verses in English at the end, taken from "Those Were the Days" (the English version of this song - lyrics by Gene Raskin) ; this version was based on the Russian romance "Dorogoi dlinnoyu" ("Дорогой длинною") composed by Boris Fomin (1900-1948), lyrics by the poet Konstantin Podrevskii. Several artists have covered this song, including Mary Hopkin, Sandie Shaw, Gigliotta Cinquetti, Ivan Rebroff, Rika Zaraï, etc...Thank you for listening. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. LALALALALA.... Oggi son tornata in quella strada un buon ricordo mi ha portata là Eri insieme a un gruppo di persone e raccontavi: «Cari amici miei, quelli eran giorni, sì, erano giorni e tu al mondo no, non chiedere di più noi ballavamo un po' e senza musica, di là passava la nostra gioventù" Through the door there came familiar laughter I saw your face and heard you call my name Oh my friend we're older but no wiser For in our hearts the dreams are still the same Those were the days my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day We'd live the life we choose We'd fight and never lose For we were young and sure to have our way. LALALALALA... Those were the days, oh yes those were the days

Here is my cover of the Spanish version of the famous song written by Charles Aznavour and Jacques Plante "La Bohème" (1965). It tells the story of a painter who remembers with nostalgia his youth spent on the heights of Montmartre. I based my interpretation on the cover of this song by Concha Buika. Concha Buika Balboa, is a Spanish singer of Equatorial Guinean origin, born May 11, 1972 in Palma de Mallorca (Spain). She grew up among gypsies and her music mixes flamenco with soul, jazz, funk and copla. Buika's voice has the raucous inflections of a jazz diva, the melismatic vocals of great flamenco singers and the tempo of an African queen. According to Warner Music Spain, her record company, Guika Concha is one of the most unique singers of the current Spanish music world. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

Here is my cover of "La Bohème", a wonderful song written by Charles Aznavour and Jacques Plante written in 1965. It tells the story of a painter who remembers with nostalgia his youth spent on the heights of Montmartre. Shahnour Varinag Aznavourian better known by his stage name Charles Aznavour, born 22 May 1924), is a French and Armenian singer, songwriter, actor, public activist and diplomat. Aznavour is known for his unique tenor voice. He is one of France's most popular and enduring singers. He has been dubbed France's Frank Sinatra . He has sung for presidents, popes and royalty, as well as at humanitarian events. In response to the 1988 Armenian earthquake, he founded the charitable organization Aznavour for Armenia along with his long-time friend impresario Levon Sayan. In 2009, he was appointed ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland, as well as Armenia's permanent delegate to the United Nations at Geneva. He started his latest tour in 2014. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

Here is my cover of the English version of the song "La Belle Vie". This is again my friend Christophe, a talented multi-instrumentalist, who prepared for me this beautiful instrumental version of the famous song composed by Sacha Distel in 1962 and covered by Tony Bennett in 1963, under the title "The Good Life". Sacha Alexander Distel, better known as Sacha Distel, was a French jazz guitarist, composer and singer of Russian origin (1933-2004). Encouraged by Ray Ventura (his uncle), Stan Getz, Django Reinhardt and others, he was to become a great jazz guitarist in the late 1950s. He played with a lot of famous guitarists such as Stéphane Grappelli, Roger Guerin, John Lewis and Lionel Hampton. Tony Bennett, whose real name is Anthony Dominick Benedetto (born August 3, 1926 in Queens, New York) is an American  singer of popular music, standards, show tunes, and jazz. Thank you for listening! NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY

Here is a new collaboration with Christophe whom I am very fortunate to have as a friend; he is a very talented multi-instrumentalist and a person that I like and admire a lot. He prepared for me this beautiful instrumental version of the famous song composed by Sacha Distel in 1962 "La Belle Vie". Christophe plys the piano, the guitar and the bass. As for me, I did my best to adapt my vocals to his version. Sacha-Alexander Distel, known as Sacha Distel, was a French jazz guitarist, a composer and a singer of Russian origin (1933-2004). Encouraged by Ray Ventura (his uncle), Stan Getz, Django Reinhardt and others, he was to become a great jazz guitarist in the late 1950s. He played with a lot of very famous guitarists including Stéphane Grappelli, Roger Guerin, John Lewis and Lionel Hampton. "La Belle Vie" became a jazz standard in 1963 when American singer Tony Bennett recorded the song under the title « The Good Life ». Thank you for listening! NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. I visited my friend, Palmer Kane Allen, on his channel the other day (http://fandalism.com/pkaemt218). I love Palmer's voice and as I also loved his version of Moon River, I asked him if he would allow me to put my vocals next to his. Palmer was very kind and accepted and so here is the result of this collaboration. I hope you will enjoy this cover. Moon River was written by Johnny Mercer and composed by Henry Mancini ; it was originally sung by Audrey Hepburn in the film by Blake Edwards, Breakfast at Tiffany's which was released in 1961. It was performed by Andy Williams at the 1962 Oscar Awards and was awarded the Oscar for Best Original Song. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS : Moon River wider than a mile I'm crossing you in style some day. You dream maker you heart breaker Wherever you're going I'm going your way. Two drifters off to see the world There's such a lot of world to see... We're after that same rainbow's end Waiting round the bend my huckleberry friend Moon river and me.

Here is my cover of a very pretty song by Mouloudji, a French singer I liked a lot. The title of the song is « Un Jour Tu verras » (One day you will see) ; it was released in 1954. I am accompanied on guitar by Alex (aka hyperboreal :https://www.youtube.com/user/hyperboreal). Marcel André Mouloudji (1922-1994) was a French singer-songwriter, painter and actor. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.

Janucik, my Polish friend, told me the other day that he had just finished a new instrumental version of "Bésame Mucho". I therefore saw it as a very good opportunity for me to sing this beautiful love song again. And so here we go with a great bolero ... This song, composed in 1941 by Mexican singer Consuelo Velázquez (from an aria by Enrique Granados), was one of the most covered songs of the 20th century. Many famous artists have given it a try, including Charles Aznavour, Dalida, Nino Ferrer, Dario Moreno, Nana Mouskouri, Edith Piaf, Tino Rossi and of course . Cesaria Evora (1941-2011), a Cape Verdean singer who was nicknamed The Barefoot Diva because she always performed barefoot. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY. LYRICS: Bésame  Bésame mucho Como si fuera esta noche la última vez Bésame  Bésame mucho Qué tengo miedo a tenerte y perderte después Bésame  Bésame mucho Como si fuera esta noche la última vez Bésame  Bésame mucho Qué tengo miedo a tenerte y perderte después Quiero tenerte muy cerca  Mirarme en tus ojos Verte junto a mi Piensa que tal vez mañana yo ya estaré lejos  Muy lejos de ti Bésame  Bésame mucho Como si fuera esta noche la última vez Bésame  Bésame mucho Qué tengo miedo a perderte, perderte después Bésame  Bésame mucho Como si fuera esta noche la última vez Bésame  Bésame mucho Qué tengo miedo a tenerte y perderte después

I visited my friend Patrice (aka Zazapat) on his Youtube channel yesterday morning and I really found his cover of "Padam... Padam ... " very pretty; so I asked him if he would mind if I borrowed it ... And so here is the result of this new collaboration. « Padam... Padam ... » is a song about Paris, performed by Edith Piaf in 1951; lyrics by Henri Contet and music by Norbert Glanzberg. Thanks for listening ! NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.

This is my cover of "Sailor" (original title: Seemann (Deine Heimat ist das Meer), a song written by Werner Scharfenberger and Fini Busch which via a 1959 recording by Lolita became an international hit, with its #5 peak on the Hot 100 chart in Billboard making "Sailor" the most successful American hit sung in German until "99 Luftballons" by Nena in 1984. The song also provided a comeback vehicle for two UK vocalists: Petula Clark and Anne Shelton whose respective versions of "Sailor" were both musical milestones for each singer ; I am accompanied by my Polish friend Janucik : https://www.youtube.com/user/janucik. I hope you will enjoy this Franco-American-Polish collaboration on this pretty German song. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FAIR USE ONLY.
