I think I experienced my first concert when my Mom and I attended the Nutcracker Ballet. I know it technically isn't a concert, but I was fascinated with the orchestra pit. Just recently I got to play in an orchestra pit for the first time, when my high school performed the musical "My Fair Lady." It was awesome!
What gear do you use?
My Mom lets me use her silver Holton, MF edition. My first trumpet that I got in fifth grade is a Yamaha.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
My parents, because they both play the trumpet, too! :)
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I am in my high school Symphonic Winds and my high school Jazz Band. And yes, we play concerts.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Josh Groban. It would be so amazing to play trumpet along with his vocals. :D
