I started playing guitar when I was 13. I always loved music. When a friend of mine offered to sell me his old Gibson Melody Maker for $30, I jumped at the chance to have an electric guitar. I mowed lawns all week to get the $30, hoping he wouldn't sell it before I had earned enough money. I still have the Melody Maker, still play it.
