I started when I was 10 years old. I really wanted to play bluegrass because my grandparents took me to festivals when I was a little kid.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first band can ever remember seeing live was Jim & Jesse at the Peaceful Valley Bluegrass Festival. My grandparents have been taking me to festivals since I was a baby, and Jim & Jesse at Peaceful Valley was my first show I remember going to.
What gear do you use?
I have a Customized Martin D-18 I play the most often... I also own a Epiphone MB-250 banjo and an Epiphone Mandolin... I also have 2 other guitars, an Alverez RD-8 and a Takimine
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
The Gibson Brothers & Jim and Jesse!!!
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I was one of the founding members of the Sons Of Bluegrass, but now I am playing with a band called Blue Edition
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
With out question, Bill Monroe & His bluegrass boys......... preferably the line-up with Lester and Earl!
