started with the flute age 6, and after my elder brother got a guitar and a bass I picked those up as a teenager. Got serious wrong when I took lessons at the Lindenberg Nijmegen, and with Walter Latupeirissa and Jeroen van Niele.

Staddijk 1981: Way Out, Vulture & Living Skull. During that concert barman Jan told me I could work in the youth center and learn a lot of things that I'm still happy with.

Warwick, Fender, Vox, London City, Digitech, Boss and various custom amps and effects. I like to experiment with everything.

Started with Queen, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Rush, UFO and the new wave of British heavy metal (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead etc, via Aardschok magazine). After I discovered Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, MC5 etc etc. I dived into blues, then I worked in a jazzclub where I went into Miles, bebop, cooljazz, and fusion like Weather Report, Return to Forever, Ponty etc.
