How long have you been playing?
I began playing bass guitar about 25 years ago. Along the way I picked up the guitar and some keys. I have been writing lyrics for most of my life and it is the one thing that really sets me apart from many of my peers. "Layers Of Simplicity" .... that's what songwriting is to me :) I am currently in the process of writing/recording my 4th Cd titled "Folklore & Superstitions". If all goes well this Cd will be released on April 1, 2013.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Metallica (with Cliff Burton) opening up for Ozzy Osbourne in Alpine Valley, Wisconsin
What gear do you use?
Ovation Acoustic, Boss recording equipment, Ibanez Bass and Gibson Guitar. I love my acoustic !! Every song I write starts out as a few simple chords on the acoustic and goes from there.
What are you looking for from Fandalism?
Actually ..... I am on the lookout for a few reliable groupies :) All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Pink Floyd
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Yes I was in bands in the past playing bass. Now days, I write/record/produce/release everything on my own. I kind of found my own way of doing things and I stuck with it.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
I would love to hang out with Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters. I would be more than happy just strumming a few chords and watching them do their thing. 2 of the best songwriters EVER !!!
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
The only kink in my armor is that I am not a live performer. There were shows in my younger days where the audiences probably numbered around 750-1000. Thankfully the internet has given songwriters like myself a platform to be heard. My total global fanbase is around 30,000 and growing very quickly. What's the smallest audience ? Seriously !!!!!
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
"Crazy Like A Fox" by the Foxman !!! I am stuck on a desert island and in need of hope, of course I am going to bring my own music !! It took me over 2,500 hours of work to complete and release this Cd. It was a test of patience and perseverance. These are the same traits I will need to get off this damn island !!!

Since I don't perform live, this is a very opportunity to see my goofy ass in action. This is a homemade video I put together for "Same Old Troubles" (fun, bluesy, lucky New Orleans voodoo song). There were actually 5 miniature dobermans in the room with me and they would not stop barking !! I recently won 2nd Place (out of 100 bands) with this song as my entry.
