P Creek Hoedown P Creek was the nickname of a band I was in back in the mid seventies. The full name was "Peppermill Creek". We played Country Rock and traditional country. I wrote this song in this band and we recorded it at Pantheon Studios in Paradise Valley, AZ. It cost us three or four grand which was all our tip money from the band fund. I called the song "Sunrise, Sunset" back then. That's what it reminded me of back then. I'm chaning the name to "P Creek Hoedown" in honor of Peppermill Creek Band which was Danny Wrenn, Tab Wilcox, Rylnd Croutch, Ed Kesterson and me. It was a fun ride back then boy's.
