P Creek Hoedown P Creek was the nickname of a band I was in back in the mid seventies. The full name was "Peppermill Creek". We played Country Rock and traditional country. I wrote this song in this band and we recorded it at Pantheon Studios in Paradise Valley, AZ. It cost us three or four grand which was all our tip money from the band fund. I called the song "Sunrise, Sunset" back then. That's what it reminded me of back then. I'm chaning the name to "P Creek Hoedown" in honor of Peppermill Creek Band which was Danny Wrenn, Tab Wilcox, Rylnd Croutch, Ed Kesterson and me. It was a fun ride back then boy's. Oh to be sixteen again. Thank you for listening .

First.. I don't want anyone to get the wrong Idea about Brother Mason. I'm a Taoist. I love my christian brothers and Muslim brother equally and I make no distinction between them. I wrote this as I watched the towers fall. I wasn't mad at Afghanistan or Pakistan or any other nation. They had little if anything to do with it. This was the country boy in Brother Mason wanting to grab a gun and remove the one man responsible.
