Here's a tune I wrote a while back.. For lack of a better name I called it " Vengeance Blues" I layed down a bass track then I used my Gibson SG with some effects and "plucked" in a part directly over the bass part. The first lead is on my PRS with Dragon II pick-ups and the other leads are ALL STRAT BABY !!

Pete utilized the band's Revox G36 tape recorder's overdubbing capabilities to great effect, adding double-tracked harmonies, a slide guitar, and tapping the back of his acoustic as if it was a pair of bongos. The song was released posthumously on "7 Park Avenue" in 1997, showing that Pete was an very eclectic and underrated songwriter and guitarist. 2 other albums showcasing his demos were released: 1999's "Golders Green" and 2013's "Keyhole Street: Demos 1966-67." As much as I wanted to duplicate Pete's demo on my 16track, this late night stereo recording (via my Sony digital recorder and stereo mic) has a charm of its own, achingly longing to be somewhere else with someone I could spend the rest of my life with, whoever that someone may be...

I wrote this song on a hippie bus during a cross-country theater tour. The bus broke down many times and frustration kept building up inside of me. All I kept thinking was " Shit! Can't get home." As soon as I finished the tour I moved my residence from New York to Louisiana. I hit the studio and all the pent-up anxiety came out into this song. Written using REASON and LOGIC PRO 9 on a MAC BOOK PRO.

'WHAT A RUSH'........... a first draft at something that's been hanging around in my musical closet for some time It's in 6/8 and based on a two chord structure E major and F# major.. its a Modal piece so it's like E Lydian over the E chords and F# Mixo-lydian over the F# chords in other words the actual scale used throughout is the key of B major all arpeggios and scales etc...
