All The Way - When I first started recording and posting vocals I decided to not attempt to engineer perfection via software but rather to produce music as close to a live performance as possible. This duet of All The Way written by Jimmy Van Heusen & Sammy Cahn, and recorded five years ago, remains the best example of what I had in mind. Two vocalists, one microphone and a PC recording a continuous, uneditted take with a backing track. This is tough to do singing by yourself. With a partner, the degree of difficulty is much higher. And while there are some minor imperfections, five years later I still think this is one of the most realistic recordings I've produced. Thank you Marilyn for making me sound better on all our wonderful collaborations.

During the same time as 'Alright' (1986-1989) I did this song, 'Dancing Lady' . Many people were invited to do their parts, but finally a few made it to the final result.
Through the years I have worked on this track in several studios, starting at the Schonberg Studios in Utrecht (The Netherlands), Studio 150 in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Unique Recording Studios in New York (U.S.A.) and finally The House Of Music in New Jersey (U.S.A.).
This is a rough mix and it never was finished because of financial shortage.
The people that have been selected and perform on this track are Arno van Nieuwenhuize (drums), Bobby v.d. Berg (keyboards), Martin Gort (percussion), Ruth Jacott and Patricia and me (backing vocals), Clifford Adams (trombone) and myself on guitar............and of course Phillip Ballou (R.I.P.) leadvocals.
