The piece has a very loose contemporary styled middle section where the music flows through to a cadence at the end. The time signature is 4/4 at 100 BPM and is in the key of G# Major. ATTENTION: This is composition-al work I do however my main genre of music is hip hop/rap. This piece is an original I did during my last year in undergrad. It features trombone, alto and flugelhorn in some fun three-voice counterpoint. The rhythm and form are borrowed from an old Flamenco form called "buleria." KU's Jazz Ensemble I is on this track, and Brian Scarborough is the trombone soloist--I thought these folks did a great job putting this together!
