i was 12 when I first picked up a guitar. A friend played Led Zeppelin II to me and as soon as I heard the opening riff to Whole Lotta Love that was it, that was what I wanted to do, I didn't know how the sound was made but I wanted to be able to create that sound.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
T.Rex Newcasle City Hall June 11th 1972 (I think) My parent took my brother and me.
What gear do you use?
I have 4 Les Pauls, 4 Strats, an SG, an Ibanez JS1000, 3 Flying V's, 2 Taylor acoustics, a mandolin and a Fender bass

Paul Kossoff/Jimmy Page
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I've been in many,many bands over the years and then decided to concentrate on recording, which I;'ve been doing for the last 9 years but now I'm looking to getting back on stage. Mainly hard rock bands are the type I prefer to play in.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
John Bonham, other than guitarists he is the single biggest influence on me.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Probably Storming The Castle bike festival in Durham 97/98 around 5-6 thousand attendance. I played at Wembley music show in '99 but I have no idea how many were there.
