Bob Seger. It was in Grand Haven Michigan. Yes, I will always remember it because I met him, we split a six pack, then I sat 12 feet from him during his outdoor concert.
What gear do you use?
Alvarez accoustic/electric guitar, older model. I used to play Martin accoustic, a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, and a Fender Strat. The Martin Bicentenial accoustic guitar I lost, I miss the most. But I love to get an old Taylor with a cut away.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
There were many. Like alot of folks, The Beatles, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Eric Clapton, Hank Williams Sr., The Gatlin Brothers, Hank Jr., Roy Clark, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Elvis Presley, The Gaithers, Bob Seger, and Del Shannon. Del Shannon was from Coopersville Mi. and I went to school with some of his relatives. Years later he actually gave me personal direction.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Many bands have come and gone, that I have been involved in. From early day rock to country rock, and country. I have no band right now. I write songs, record them, and hope you all hear and enjoy them.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
The Eagles or Rascal Flatts, cause I'm a big fan of both! But currently on the Country side, I would really like to jam with Big Kenny, John Rich, Hank Jr., or Ronnie Dunn. Because They translate music from their hearts and souls.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
20,000 plus opened a festival concert before Aarron Tippon. Also played in The National Battle of the Bands when I was a kid, to 6,000 plus people in Greenville S. Carolina
