I started playing guitar at 14, when I got my first guitar at Bradlee's. (I got a deal on it because it had two missing strings.)
What gear do you use?
ESP LTD w/Kahler, G&L F-100 (original), Electra Phoenix w/Kahler, '70's Ibanez Strat (the one that Fender sued them for). Marshall stack, Marshall 9000-series rack-mount preamp and 400-watt stereo poweramp, Dean Markley DM preamp, two Dean Markley DR-80 combos and a SR-40 combo.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Eddie Van Halen and Mark Knopfler!
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I'm in a cover band 'Habbit'; started with them in 81. Original band 'Billy Shake'; started with them a few months ago.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Well, in the '80', my band 'Poison T' used to open for bands like 'Extreme' and 'Bang' Friday and Saturday nights at The Channel in Boston. Full house there was probably around 1500 maybe? Very nice!
