My father is a musician along with most of my family who inspired me to be a musician. My dad Mike Perea bought me my first drum set when I was 9 years old and I never stopped playing, it is my greatest passion in life. I've been playing for 23 years.

My first concert was in 94 Metallica binge and purge tour, with my friend Jeremy Orr bound to a wheel chair since he was born with muscular distrafie. We both were real excited to see our favorite metal band perform in front of this huge mob of people.
First big venue concert, band shirt, mosh pit... It was an awesome thing to witness and be apart of the experience.
