My uncle lived with us while he studied music when I was about 3 or 4, where we started playing plastic instruments. Took up piano at age of 6, guitar at 14.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
The Dave Clark Five in Cleveland Ohio in about 1965. Black lights and stuff! WOOT!
What gear do you use?
Have a few that I prefer over others. Pretty much a Gibson electric guy, don't like their acoustics. PRS custom 22 is my workhorse.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
R&B. James Brown, Wilson Pickett...then came the Beatles ... and the Stones. Mick Taylor and Eric Clapton, along with Elmore James would be the primary influences.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
yeah, play Blues and Classic Rock, mostly.
