Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Grew up on all kinds of different music... Learned to appreciate it all for what it is.... and what makes them unique.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Currently have 3 different band configurations... Music is customized for venue and event.I play every weekend.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Prince.... We met when I worked for Patti LaBelle...He's a very cool guy & I can respect his abilities and the level of work that it took to get there.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
110,000 people @ New Orleans Jazz Fest. Each performance has something special to remember about it.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Charles Buie "Life Work" vol 1,2,3. It's a compilation of my work over my life time so far and has influences from all the experiences and styles that I've ever been exposed to. Most of the rest of my favorite albums I have memorized ... and can be recalled at will.
