BLUKAOS "THE SORROW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MARKET" It happened in a bad day. That days where everything is precious but it's not gold. Where everything is shit but it can't make flowers. Suddenly. The most unscrupulous thing in a day: a sorrow. There. In that place you remembered you've got a stomach long time ago. That place you destroyed a little bit later. Maybe with alchool in order to forget you've to have a stomach. In both gold or shit. An unexplained pain. In the middle of a supermarket. In the center of a marketplace. From there ideas came out. Maybe to create a sountrack that marks a place. That fills a space. There where alchool washed a stomach away. To get more space to stock more sorrows for the next day. This album borned like a requirement, like a need. An urgency. Like piss. Like a place, a space, to find your peace. I didn't mind if as usual nobody would listen to it. Pissing is a need, an intimate need. That's why you always do it by yourself. With your solitary figure in a distant hidden bathroom. In this sense "The sorrows in the middle of the market" is something I'm a little bit proud of. One of the rare things I'm proud. And I'm usually never proud of what I create. It's an album surely more long, more complex, than my usual ones. There were two different roads I decided to walk: a more meticulous attention to detail and a most spontaneous approach with a "right first" attitude. And there are few new elements I never used to use like the sax or some lyrics here and there. The concept was: we're always much more audience rather than people. And these days, our tv is always an "the pain of the other one" tv. But I've released how it takes too little to forget about other one's pain as a little own pain suddenly hunts you. Humbly I've to admit I consider my best album for now. My music of maturity. It took me two months to put all the demos together. In some case, my favourites things like "Weight of words", "Above" or "Dragonfly" took me few hours to come to mind and become exactly what you hear here. I've started working parallel with my last album "With blood extravaganza". The last one was intended to be an "electronical and mechanical" album, while at the same time I was writing "normal" tracks for this actual album. The question is always: why I've to share something I already know few people will listen to ? Why making something that I will only listen to ? This time the answer was easy: sorrows are part of our intimacy. Even when they grow in the middle of a marketplace. And in those cases, you just want your intimacy with your personal pain. We used to call it "Privacy": a word which is a mix of intimacy and pain. An this album is something I feel like an intimate thing like suffering. Or pissing. Or making love. I hope you'll hear the difference with everything I've done before. I can hear it. Enjoy.
