I started my 'musical career' at the age of twelve with two cd-players and a mixer...Seriously making my own music since I was about 19.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Coolio on Markrock in my hometown with my Father, because I was too young to go alone. 'Gangsta paradise', a classic!
What gear do you use?
Nowadays I use ableton for my productions, but I only use it for cutting and pasting. My favourite synths are massive, sylenth & (arturia) minimoog. For sound processing I use some UAD and Sonnox stuff.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
When I started to be interessted in electronic music, trance music was having a big breaktrough. So It are artists like Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, and especially Cygnus X (superstrings) that made me realise that electronic music will be my life project.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I'm not in a band. I'm happy being a solo musician. I love certain bands though.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Can you imagine making a house record with someone like Bach. Now that would make the bourgeoisie tremble!
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Now I just want to make my music as good as possible before doing gigs. Why let people waste their time and money on you if you are not worth it?
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
None, it would only make me bored. Music is fun because there's so much of it and it's so differentiated.
