First Live Band I saw was Manfred Mann In London when I was 16, Iwas knocked out at some of the great songs they played that were never released as recordings
What gear do you use?
Have had many great Basses, Gibson Thunderbird, Fender Jazz+ Precision, Gibson Ripper, Tobias Growler (3) 17 Guitar's through the years, Gibson's, Fender's etc, Due to accident had to switch to left hand, Now have G&L LB-100 Bass + Cort Artisan 5-string. Have Trace-Elliott AMX 600 Amplifier with selection of Cabinets, Previously have had various VOX, Marshall, Fender, Acoustic, Peavey etc Amplification (both Guitar + Bass) + Currently own several PA Rigs and often do Sound engineering at clubs.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
John Entwistle, Jack Bruce,John Paul Jones, Tim Bogart, All great innovators on the Bass guitar
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Have played in several Band's mostly covers , although with THOR performed some numbers I wrote as well as Numbers the Guitarist Gordon Broadley had written. Currently not playing in a band.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
AC/DC (especially with Bon Scott) I consider them to be the greatest Rock n Roll band in the world.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Between 400-500 people at a club called DUE East in Boksburg , with a band called Sandbox, a very successful cover band. It was always a great club to play at , people came to party.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Nightwish Once. Love the combination of an OperaSinger with a metal band, and the ballads are unbelievable. Those idiots fired her in 2005 and now sound just like anbody else.
