I was about 6 years old when I would go to Great America's karaoke stage almost every weekend to sing "Blue Bayou" by Linda Ronstadt.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
The first concert I ever went to was Jeffrey Osborne at a fair when I was very young. I went with both of my parents and I remember that I didn't even know who Jeffrey Osborne was, but my dad wanted me to really study him because he was such an amazing singer.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Mariah Carey, The Jackson 5, and the SPICE GIRLS! When I was 10, I put together a Spice Girls cover band with other girls from the neighborhood and we dressed up and performed at the mall.. Good times...
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Haha! Depending on the time of the year, I would either bring "The Bodyguard" sound track or the "Mariah Carey Christmas" album. Nothing tops those for me.
