I've been playing guitar for about 5 years, but I've been jumping back and forth between drums and guitar. I don't own my own drumset at the moment but I've been playing drums for roughly 5 years aswell. I just sat down one day and listened to some music and wanted to see if I could learn to play anything, so I got my brothers old guitar and started playing around with it, and I enjoyd it very much so I keept going!
What was the first concert you ever went to?
My first real concert was in 2009 I believe, in Stockholm at Hovet. I went with a friend and we watched Children of Bodom, Machine Head and Slipknot. It was a blast!
What gear do you use?
I use a Dean ML79 (Trans Brasiliaburzt) and a Ibanez RG420.
My amplifier consist of a Randall RH100 head and a Randall 4x12 speaker cabinet.
Really nice amp, I like it alot and I'm currently looking for another cab.
When I record covers etc. at home I use a Line6 Toneport UX1 and record through that.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Pantera, definetly. Something about the groove in their music caught my attention, and the solos where just ridiculous!
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I'm currently in a band called Everlasting for Downfall.
We play Metalcore/Rock music, I joined the band a while back as their 3rd guitarist.
Looking for other projects aswell!
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Dimebag. His style of playing and his personality is phenomenal, just seems like he's the greatest guy.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
I've only been performing in smaller musical competitions so I haven't played in front of a large crowd anytime.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
'The great southern trendkill' by Pantera. I would listen to 'Floods' and their cover of 'Planet Caravan' over and over again!
