I was about 12 when I started playing guitar, I started singing a little later on. Mainly influenced by friends of the family. My step dad helped my develop a love for songwriting. I have recently relocated from a small town in NSW called Mullumbimby to study music in Melbourne and further develop my skills as a musician.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Growing up in Byron Shire, it would have been the Byron Bay Blues festival in about 2006, it was a bit of a family routine. Such a Plethora of amazing live music opened my ears an inspired many things.
What gear do you use?
My main guitar is a Fender Telecaster American, standard deluxe ( with an S-1 switch) other than that I like to play my Martin acoustic.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Growing up I listened to a pretty wide variety of music, things like, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, to Eddie Vedder, crowded house, to Miles Davis. I was introduced to some Jeff Buckley, Bjork, Earth Wind and Fire, Idlewild, Kimbra, John Frusciante, Jeff Buckley, Gotye, Herbie Hancock, they really changed my perception of creating music, and the unlimited ability to create and provoke interest and emotion through the exploration of sound. I also love a lot of soul, blues and Jazz, and can generally find something I like on the radio.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I have been in a couple of bands. I met both bands through high school. I'm currently studying music in Melbourne, and working on a solo project, and developing an individual sound and writing style, as well as working on a few collaborations.

Jeff Buckley- he is such an inspiring artist.
